Every surgery runs its risk, and with plastic surgery, it’s no different. Especially when you’re a regular TV star with eagle-eyed fans, as it happens in Darcey Silva’s case. The Middletown, Connecticut, star has often been chided for her poor relationship choices. First, it was Jesse Meester who broke the 90 Day Fiancé star’s heart and enjoys taunting her till date, and later, her best friend-turned boyfriend-turned blocked ex Tom Brooks that gave Darcey a hard time. Along with Darcey, her twin Stacey too became a mainstay on TLC due to her popular sister, but the fact that the Silva twins had been bitten by the reality TV bug long ago didn’t stay hidden for long. Since coming across the Darcey & Stacey celebs’ The Twin Life super trailer, fans noticed the stark differences in their appearances. To make things saucier, the trailer also showed Darcey and Stacey visit a plastic surgeon! While Stacey’s excessive use of bronzer became the talk of the town after her 90 Day Fiancé appearance, fans also ridiculed Darcey’s lip fillers which she openly had admitted to getting. Back in May 2019, Avana Plastic Surgery in Miami shared a video of the Darcey & Stacey single moms getting “mommy makeovers.” Darcey had told Life & Style, “I started this journey for a mommy makeover and it’ an inner, outer transformation just to feel healthy and maintenance for my age,” Stacey added, “I felt that the tummy tuck was the best route for us at this point in life and I feel great.” Interestingly, the 90 Day Fiancé celebs didn’t get breast augmentation but wanted to get “bikini ready” with “a slim, trim, snatched waist.”
The Darcey & Stacey celebs were soon spotted getting “some cosmetic procedures” in a video where Darcey says she needs a makeover before flying out to England to meet Tom for the first time. In a YouTube video, TheLipDoctor gives the Silva twins a cold laser therapy treatment that focuses on their abs to “bring those mommy muscles back.” Soon follow the injections, with fillers below the 90 Day Fiancé stars’ eyes and lips. “I love it, it’s the old me,” says Darcey excitedly. Do fans agree with the Silva sister?
In December 2019, Soap Dirt reported that Darcey was spotted at a salon where she got a lighter hair color and “at least 30 inches of hair extensions” in a procedure that took eight hours in total. In their Darcey & Stacey episodes, her twin too flaunts a matching hairstyle, taking their twintuition to the next level.
Another video shared by TheLipDoctor on YouTube shows Darcey sitting in the doctor’s chair as Dr. Nikki Bell from the cosmetic and laser studio works her magic on the 90 Day Fiancé star’s face. The esthetician gives Darcey lip injections and fillers which Darcey also admitted to having later on her Instagram. “My lips are loving the pillow talk and my Hof11 silk Pj’s!" the TLC star posted as a clap back for all her haters. "So Smooth and Sexy!" she wrote in a jab for Tom who himself had posted a crude selfie with a pair of plastic lips hashtagged “#newlook” to mock Darcey.
