Sisters Darcey Silva and Stacey Silva continue to shock 90 Day Fiancé fans with their before-plastic surgery faces, this time after a Reddit user shared an unseen photo, as their Darcey & Stacey spin-off returns to TLC. While fans have grown to see Darcey struggling to find her happily ever after since season 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, season 2 of her reality show is no different, with her doubting Georgi Rusev’s intentions. Jesse Meester, Tom Brooks and now Georgi possibly becoming an ex may not come as a surprise to viewers, but Darcey’s photos before her cosmetic surgeries and filters are still jaw-dropping to many.
With Darcey being a household name and 90 Day Fiancé icon, fans seem to predict her every move because of them knowing her so well from the start. The fan-favorite even got her own spin-off, Darcey & Stacey, focusing on Middletown, Connecticut, residents the Silva sisters, their family, relationship troubles and, of course, plastic surgery. This time around, Darcey found herself a new, younger European man in Georgi via Instagram DMs and even got engaged to him in the finale. Previews for season 2 show a possible pause in Darcey and Georgi’s love life, but when it comes to getting plastic surgery, the 90 Day Fiancé star sees no end.
A recent interview featuring the Darcey & Stacey leads showed them with unnaturally high hairlines, with fans being concerned about the 90 Day Fiancé celebs and their health. Fans wondered if Darcey and Stacey had traction alopecia because they put their hair through constant stress. A photo of the twins from this interview was shared by a fan on Reddit, alongside one with Darcey and Stacey looking nothing like their current selves with their hairlines in place, no visible extensions or shark teeth. “They were both so pretty,” the 90 Day Fiancé fan wrote, getting responses such as, “My God. I didn't recognize Darcey. Wtf did she do with herself?” in return.
The photo appears to be a screengrab from a reality show called The Twin Life from 2010 that Darcey and Stacey supposedly starred in. This OG version of Darcey & Stacey, which was way before 90 Day Fiancé itself launched, featured them alongside their ex-husbands, Frank Bollok and Goran Vasik. While the trailer showed the twins getting some Thermage done to look “so refreshed and new and youthful again,” as Darcey says in the trailer for The Twin Life, she and Stacey still look more “natural” than their 2021 versions that 90 Day Fiancé fans are seeing.
Darcey also became a laughingstock after TLC did a Darcey & Stacey season 2 preview featuring a scene with her crying over Georgi. The scene had Darcey’s cheap-looking hair extensions on full display, as she complained about not knowing anything about Georgi, who had proposed to her just 48 hours earlier. With Darcey’s love for frequent makeovers, she may have gotten her hair fixed after the stressful sequence, but just like some Photoshop fails of the 90 Day Fiancé star that exist on the Internet, fans may never be able to forget this disaster ever again.
