Just when 90 Day Fiancé fans thought that Darcey Silva had found happiness, things have started to fall apart. The Darcey & Stacey star finally received her engagement ring from Georgi Rusev after multiple seasons of heartbreaks. Darcey’s spin-off with twin sister Stacey Silva concluded on a happy note and 90 Day Fiancé fans expected to see a wedding in her future. But Darcey’s recent social media behavior suggests not all is well between her and Georgi.
Darcey Silva became an instant hit with TLC viewers after appearing on four seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. The Middletown, Connecticut resident first showed up pining for Dutch model Jesse Meester. Darcey, a single mother of two was left heartbroken by the end of it all, when Jesse, who was half her age famously broke up with her on the reality show. Next in line was Darcey’s third season partner, a British man Tom Brooks, who disappointed her by giving a key instead of a ring and blurting some toxic fat-shaming remarks. In walked Bulgarian massage specialist and model Georgi during Darcey’s latest shot at love in her sisterly spin-off Darcey & Stacey. The couple who’d met in February during the Super Bowl, formed a close bond after a rose-oil massage and quarantining together, enough to announce an engagement on the last episode. 90 Day Fiancé fans heaved a sigh of relief at Darcey having finally found “the one” but looks like bad news in store for her future with Georgi.
The 90 Day Fiancé star had recently started a new weight loss program called HGC which made her lose five pounds in a week. Darcey showed off her svelte look by debuting a new long bob hairdo on Instagram last night. Darcey’s 1.1 million-plus followers thought that it was her prepping for her soon-to-happen wedding, but their hopes came crashing down earlier this morning. 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates shared a screenshot of Darcey’s bitter comment on Georgi’s post that indicates trouble in paradise. On the picture that has Georgi and Darcey attending their first date at the “Welcome to Miami” Super Bowl Kickoff Party from February, the House of Eleven owner commented, “Well body language tells all.” Darcey continued, “I tried and rather not be in this picture,” before adding, “please take me off your page. Thank you.”
Fans who noticed the comment asked Darcey if they’d broken up, but she went right ahead and deleted the comments off Georgi’s page. However, Darcey edited the caption on her own selfie, “Short hair and don’t care! Love is in the hair! Loving it!” and added, “I deserve the best and will not settle!” to stir the pot. John Yates has also reported that both Georgi and Darcey have now unfollowed each other on Instagram.
90 Day Fiancé viewers are however finding it strange that this apparent break-up is happening right after the renewal of Darcey & Stacey for season 2. Although Georgi is still in the middle of a divorce, fans expected to see Darcey walking down the aisle with Georgi, and quite possibly starting a new family in the upcoming season. But considering how this social media feud might end up in the reality TV couple splitting up for good, could Darcey show up on season 2 with a brand new younger, European man?
