Iconic 90 Day Fiancé star Darcey Silva has been keeping a few secrets, and her Instagram followers have caught the diva red-handed. Middletown, Connecticut, resident Darcey was last seen on TLC starring on her own twin-themed spin-off with sister Stacey Silva. Back in October during the finale of Darcey & Stacey, Darcey even announced that she was engaged to Bulgarian boyfriend Georgi Rusev. However, her social media so far has given several hints of a break-up--when she’s not being called out for her excessive use of filters, that is.
Not known for having the best of relationships on reality TV, Darcey has dealt with three men since her debut on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 1 when she dated Jesse Meester. Her miserable plot with Meester ended with her walking into the arms of Tom Brooks, who also similarly broke her heart. And when 90 Day Fiancé's Darcey began dating Georgi, fans wondered if this relationship was real and if it would really last. But it looks like no one can tell what Darcey is really up to these days, both in her romantic and personal life, as the 90 Day Fiancé star has skillfully avoided posting any updates.
However, recent comments on 90 Day Fiancé star Darcey’s posts suggest that fans have started noticing something amiss. Darcey currently has over 1.1 million followers, making her one of the most followed stars of the TLC franchise. Darcey does keep up with consistent postings, as most of them are either about herself, her daughters, her fashion store or her vision board. But Darcey’s 90 Day Fiancé followers have noticed that almost all of her content on Instagram is her reposting her own old content, recycling most of them. Meanwhile, Darcey’s Stories are also either promotional or her sharing manifestation quotes, TikToks from her kids, products from House of 11 or other things not related to the 90 Day Fiancé star’s daily life.
Her latest post from Wednesday May 19 is a selfie of Darcey captioned, “Keeping my eyes on the prize! I deserve the best!” But the same photo was posted by Darcey a few months ago in February 2021 and back in August 2020 as well. Fans were quick to notice this and commented, “This is the 4th time we’ve seen this pic,” “You really love this picture huh? Every six weeks you post it lol,” and “But why do we post the same pics??” 90 Day Fiancé viewers also observed that Darcey’s caption is also rehashed, with some of them saying, “Can you please change this old recycled quote?” “Photo and quote recycled” and “Can we change the captions sometimes?”
However, it could also be that Darcey is reposting old content just to hide what is happening in her life right now and thus abiding by her NDAs. Being one of the top stars of 90 Day Fiancé does come at a cost, with fans getting spoilers about one’s storyline way in advance thanks to a social media slip-up. So far, not knowing what Darcey currently looks like and whether she is still engaged to Georgi is keeping fans on their toes.
