New Yorker Daniele moved to the Dominican Republic during The Other Way season 4 after getting married to Yohan Geronimo. Daniele took a sabbatical from her teaching and wellness coach job for the move, which turned out to be disastrous. While 90 Day Fiancé fans are waiting to find out if Yohan and Daniele will really split up when the lease of their house in La Romana is up, Starcasm discovered details about Daniele's life outside of reality TV. A video of Daniele’s son Thomas, set at the Broadway Comedy Club from August 2022, showed him joking about his mom’s 90 Day Fiancé stint.
“You guys know that show 90 Day Fiance?” he asked before mentioning, “My mom is on this show right now!” and explained how his mom was minding her own business on a vacation when a “Dominican jumped out of a bush! And the rest is history.”

“I know that my mom loves Dominicans. That was not a shock to me. I knew that from experience,” added Daniele's son while revealing more juicy details about Daniele's past before 90 Day Fiancé. He spoke about growing up with a lot of Dominicans. According to Thomas, Daniele was with another man from the Dominican Republic “for a while.” The man even raised Thomas for a couple of years. Thomas is now 21 years old and a stand-up comedian and actor in New York. He was even cast in the lead role of a FOX comedy pilot called Prodigy/Bully in March 2012.
Daniele has only mentioned her son once on camera in her two seasons of 90 Day Fiancé. It was during her introduction in 90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise season 2 where she said she became a single mom at 21 after her son was born. She then started to date men whom she thought would be a good father to her son, but that didn't mean they would have been good partners to Daniele. She was in a string of bad relationships before deciding that she needed a break from dating and needed to focus on herself. Daniele took a five-year break and then met Yohan.
Daniele's son was a “young adult” by then and living his “own life,” which gave her the freedom to explore a new marriage. She even got married to Yohan in a hurry because she wanted to have a baby with him. Daniele then spoke about her issues with her health that have resulted in her being unable to get pregnant due to her age and being afraid she might have a miscarriage.
