Daniele and Yohan Geronimo starred in Love In Paradise: The Caribbean before joining The Other Way, where fans are learning more about their complicated relationship. Daniele wants to live in the Dominican Republic with Yohan and told friends she plans to manifest the money to live there. Meanwhile, she also says she's leaving New York because she can no longer afford to live in the state.
What the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4 star hasn't told Yohan yet is that she filed for bankruptcy in 2022.
Starcasm reports that Daniele initially filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy, voluntary repayment bankruptcy, but later changed it to Chapter 7, liquidation bankruptcy. At the time of her filing, the 90 Day Fiancé star had liabilities adding up to $224,584.42. Daniele listed her rent was $3,475 a month, not far off from the $4,000 a month she told Yohan that she pays.

Daniele was making $1,300 less than her monthly expenses and owed $36,000 for her Yonkers apartment. The 90 Day Fiancé star also listed a Bronx apartment, and it appears as though she was no longer living in Yonkers at the time she filed for bankruptcy. Daniele also owes over $60,000 in student loans and $80,000 to EZ pass. She says the $80,000 is business debt. Some other expenses are $4,600 for parking tickets and various amounts for credit card debt.
It appears Daniele has a very good reason to get out of the country. She wasn't kidding when she said she couldn't afford to live In New York anymore, but she left out some crucial details. It's no surprise Daniele was running from something and not being completely transparent about why she wanted to live in the Dominican Republic with Yohan so badly. Unfortunately, she couldn't run for long, and the truth has come out. 90 Day Fiancé fans will likely get to see Daniele confess the truth to Yohan on the show, and hopefully, he's as kind and understanding as he seems.
Otherwise, there will be some big problems with their relationship. When Daniele told her friends she plans to manifest the money to live in the Dominican Republic, she forgot to tell them she had a crazy money situation in New York that she should be manifesting herself out of instead. Hopefully, cameras can catch back up with Daniele's friends and see what they think of the situation. This is sure to put a strain on Daniele and Yohan's relationship, but luckily it will keep 90 Day Fiancé fans entertained for the season.
