In the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 "Tell All" episode, the couples updated the viewers on their relationships after their nuptials, but some couples didn't seem to have changed since the end of the season. Season 9 introduced six new couples: Thaís Ramone and Patrick Mendes, Bilal Hazziez and Shaeeda Sween, Emily Bieberly and Kobe Blaise, Yvette Arellano and Mohammed Abdelhamed, Kara Bass and Guillermo Rojer, and Jibri and Miona Bell. Although the season was boring compared to the previous season, each couple had its fair share of ups and downs.

Yve and Mohamed had a difficult time seeing eye-to-eye on their cultural differences. He also wasn't enthusiastic about Yve's wedding plans. Emily and Kobe had difficulties agreeing on parenting styles. Not to mention, Kobe disliked Emily's tendency to bypass the truth while simultaneously questioning his intentions. Bilal is known for playing jokes that are funny only to him, ruining romantic moments with poorly timed conversations, and lecturing his laid-back partner, 90 Day Fiancé's Shaeeda.

Kara occasionally appeared to be more of a mother towards Guillermo and was quick to tell him how their relationship and finances would work. Miona struggled to get along with her in-laws, who were clearly against her relationship with Jibri from the start. Thaís found herself entangled with a more controlling version of Patrick and his brother, John Mendes. However, despite these concerns, all the couples said their "I dos." However, their interactions at the Tell All hint that nothing about them has changed.

Bilal Hazziez and Shaeeda Sween

Throughout the season, Bilal’s bright red flags continued to wave in front of Shaeeda, which caused viewers to name him this season's villain. Aside from his tendency to be a "neat freak" and his lack of trust in his fiancé, Bilal had a way of talking to Shaeeda like a child. Condescending and lecturing were often used to describe his conversation tactics, and nothing changed judging by the Tell All. Patrick even claimed Bilal used a "salesman tactic" to spin conversations, so he was in the right. Unfortunately, it seems old habits die hard as his ex-wife, Shahidah Salaam, claimed he was the same with her during their marriage.

Yvette Arellano and Mohamed Abdelhamed

The drastic difference in culture proved to be more difficult for Mohamed to overcome than he thought. Mohamed, who is Muslim, was used to women being more conservative. As a result, the way Yve dressed and the way her friends pressured him for intimate information made him uncomfortable. After a conversation with his mother, 90 Day Fiance's Mohamed seemed to reconsider and was more open-minded to Yve's preferences. However, after Tell All, Yve was allegedly arrested for domestic violence and is accusing Mohamed of immigration fraud.

Patrick Mendes and Thaís Ramone

Between lies, Patrick's controlling behavior, and Thaís' father’s disapproval of the wedding, she was ready to call off the wedding. She gave Patrick multiple chances to hear her out, but her wants and needs appeared to go in one ear and out the other. Nonetheless, the couples tied the knot and announced their pregnancy at the Tell All. Alas, it appears the pair still struggles with communication and is having a difficult time letting the past go. Not only did Patrick conceal his infertility from Thaís, but fans also learned more about his infidelity. On the day he proposed, 90 Day Fiance's Thaís learned the truth about his antics in the U.S., and she is finding it difficult to move on.

Although relationships are far from perfect, and these couples only have 90 days to decide about marriage, it appears these relationships could've used more time to sort out their differences. More often than not, if a couple goes into a marriage with unresolved issues, it will continue to be a problem. From their actions at the Tell All, it seems none of the couples have changed. Hopefully, 90 Day Fiancé fans will get more answers on how the couples are doing in future seasons of the series.
