90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Corey Rathgeber claimed that he’s disgusted every time he hears Jenny’s name in his latest apology to Evelin Villegas. Ecuador resident Evelin wants a divorce from Corey ahead of their wedding ceremony on TOW season 3, all thanks to his mistress from Peru, Jenny. Evelin is being called a hypocrite for objecting to Corey and Jenny’s relationship when she was the one who broke up and has cheated on him in the past. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers also want Corey to get married to Jenny; however, he now believes she was nothing but a big mistake.
Corey and Evelin’s relationship of seven years has been the subject of many a controversy on 90 Day Fiancé. After Corey and Evelin finally admitted that they got married in 2019, the focus has shifted to Jenny, who caused a major fight between them on 90 Day Fiancé: Self Quarantined. In a recent episode, Corey met Jenny to tell her he’s sorry via a translator. Jenny admitted that their relationship was “very beautiful” and also revealed that Corey told her he was single when they dated. Meanwhile, Corey choked when a producer asked him if he was really over Jenny. Washington resident Corey said he has feelings for Jenny “as a person,” but his heart belonged to Evelin, who asked him to leave when he spilled everything.
Since Jenny’s introduction on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Evelin has been very vocal about how much she detests the woman and is disappointed in Corey as he didn’t allow her to deal with the situation privately. To pacify Evelin, Corey shared yet another long statement on his private Instagram page, which has been reposted by 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates for all to see. “I don't even want to say her name because it disappoints and disgusts me every time I hear it,” Corey wrote and accepted his big mistake of blindsiding his wife for Jenny. “I am ashamed by the mistakes and harm I have made towards Evelin,” he added as he addressed viewers who want him to choose Jenny by saying, “You saw her in one scene. I can tell you she was never ‘for me.’”
Corey believes what he did was wrong and selfish, and has come to realize that he “never had any feelings” for Jenny nor did he ever intend to be with her. “I never was or ever will be with this other person,” Corey claimed, though he did confess on TV that it was a two-and-a-half-month relationship. Corey defended Evelin not coming across as a loving or caring person when in reality she’s the opposite. “Even during my hardest times, she has always loved and cared for me more than anyone will understand,” he said about Evelin, who’s often called rude and demeaning. Corey went on to thank Evelin for supporting him for seven years as he added, “Again I am so so very much sorry,” in conclusion.
Evelin mentioned that Corey is refusing to sign the divorce papers. Corey seems to be trying his best to convince Evelin that he truly loves her and is over Jenny. 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers are now slamming Corey for saying mean things about Jenny. One fan noted that Corey is indulging in toxic behavior by dragging a woman down just to please his partner. It looks like the fans who once supported Corey are also turning against him after realizing that he’s actually the perfect match for Evelin.
