Colt Johnson of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? recently revealed that he was looking forward to being friends with Eric Nichols, but Eric blocked him.
In January of last year, Colt separated from his then-wife, Larissa Dos Santos Lima. After the split, she began dating Eric. But after just eight months of togetherness, the 33-year-old decided to break up with Eric in September 2019. She claimed Eric was cheap and went on to reveal to her girlfriends that he didn't appreciate her beauty anymore. She also wrote a lengthy IG post to announce her break up, saying, "There is no hard feelings or regrettees." But on this season of Happily Ever After, Larissa is back with Eric. At first, the duo looked somewhat promising, as they were open about the reasons that led to their separation the first time. However, Larissa still has hard feelings towards Eric for striking up a friendship with Colt after their breakup. The two men hung out at least once and supposedly spent their time together bashing Larissa, which doesn't sit well with the Brazilian beauty. However, the friendship seemed to end before it even began.
To shed more light on this matter, Colt talked to Us Weekly and revealed his side of the story. He explained that Eric was persistent in being his friend at first; however, he then ghosted him for no reason. He said, "I think he blocked me. He really wanted to be my friend a lot. He kept texting me every day." The 35-year-old continued, "I was busy, and then he eventually blocked me and ghosted me. I felt like we could kind of have this like friendship blooming, but I wasn't really interested and he took that very personal."
Viewers can assume what happened between the men. Eric was in touch with Colt only when he was broken up with Larissa. When he rekindled his relationship with the mom of two, he decided to put an end to the digital friendship he had with Colt. Still, Colt is happy to see his ex-wife in a new relationship. He said, "If Larissa's happy and Eric makes her happy? That's great. I root the best for them, especially right now. I'm sure they get a lot of haters. A lot of people trying to tear them apart. I remember that. I was part of that. So I just want the best for her at the end of the day."
Wow, that's very nice of you, Colt! Still, Colt didn't entirely reject the possibility of reconciling with his ex-wife. He explained, "Who knows, really? 2020 is full of surprises. We never had closure." At the same time, he admitted, "I'm so far removed from Larissa. Like, I don't even know what to say to her. I have no beef with her if she wants to sit down and have tea or whatever." While his relationship seems bleak with Jess, viewers think he should try igniting romance with his best friend, Vanessa, instead of his ex-wife Larissa.
