Colt Johnson was best known for his part of the lethal relationship with Larissa Dos Santos Lima. The two have since called it quits and Colt is looking to a new love voyage with Jess Caroline. The bar chats with Jess quickly escalated from a casual conversation to the idea of a one-night stand back at the Las Vegas native’s hotel room. Fans were a bit put off by her forward-thinking but soon realized it was the Brazilian way. While Colt was ready to move on it seems that his mother, Debbie may not be too fond of the idea.
The couple that is Colt and Debbie are the perfect example of a mama’s boy who can’t function without the approval of his mother; move over Smothered fans, there is a new gross relationship in town. On Sunday’s all-new episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans watched Colt 2.0 finally came clean this his mother. While he told his mother, the truth is was obvious to fans this Debbie’s heart was once again being broken. The widow had only just made it out alive from her son’s last relationship and was hoping she would be given a reprieve.
To the fans' surprise, Debbie took the news rather well. The wise mother let her son know that she would not be judging all Brazilians by the actions of Larissa but rather by what they held in their hearts. Colt had also been given some interesting news while on a Skype call with his new girlfriend. Jess made it clear that he would need to go to Brazil with her and gain her father’s permission to date. While it felt like a lot of pressure fans felt it was about time Colt take some responsibility in a relationship. The best part of the scene was when Debbie took it upon herself to invite herself along on the trip to Brazil. Not to anyone’s surprise, her son felt the invitation was fine. But Jess was taken back by the bold actions of her possible future mother-in-law. The Brazilian tried to keep her cool, but it was apparent she was uncomfortable with the idea.
While three may be a crowd, Colt seemed perfectly content in allowing his mother to join in on the fun. Fans will enjoy watching Jess’s discontent and Colt squirm while he tries to impress her father.
