On the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Tell-All episode, Andrei Castravet and Charlie Potthast’s feud was on full display, and it’s become clear that they're clashing because they’re both struggling to gain alpha male status in the family. There was a lot of shocking behavior and moments on the Tell-All, though Andrei and Charlie's confrontation was one of the most tense. Their squabbling had the Potthast family members in tears, and if they don’t stop fighting over who gets to sit at the head of the table, it’s going to tear the family apart.

The conversation on the Tell-All focused primarily on Andrei and Charlie’s explosive fight at the end of the season at a barbecue that Libby’s father Chuck threw so the family could work out their issues. But as anyone could have predicted, the get-together went horribly awry. Charlie showed up guns blazing, calling out, “look who’s back! Call the cops!” Andrei told him to take a seat, and that’s where things really started to heat up. “Don’t tell me what to do,” Charlie shot back before he and Andrei threw down by the pool.

By the end of the clip that got replayed on the Tell-All stage, Libby was crying and her father Chuck was visibly upset as well. Things didn’t improve when Charlie showed up in person. Host Shaun Robinson gave the two men an opportunity to apologize for their role in the fight, and neither would back down. “Hell no I’m not gonna apologize,” Andrei responded, and though Charlie said he isn’t “holding grudges,” his body language said otherwise. Many fans think Charlie is the worst Potthast family member, and it’s not hard to see why. On the Tell-All he came across as an aggressive, angry alcoholic, though Andrei didn’t help matters.

Even when Charlie and Andrei had a chance to back down and deescalate, neither could, and it’s because they’re both so tied to their egos and alpha male identity. Both of them are so wrapped up in the idea of being “top dog” that they’re bound to clash. It’s no surprise that the two of them are constantly feuding, like during Andrei and Charlie’s showdown at the end of the season. On the Tell-All, Chuck, Elizabeth, and her sister Jenn opened up about how their family and business have been impacted by Charlie and Andrei’s behavior, and they just want the fighting to end.

On this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Andrei and Charlie’s never-ending conflict was heavily criticized by fans who are sick of seeing the same argument over and over again. If the two men can’t squash their beef soon, the Potthast family may never recover. There can’t be two top dogs, and until Andrei and Charlie figure that out, the rest of their family will suffer. Though they can’t stand each other, in many ways Andrei and Charlie are cut from the same cloth, and their similarities are causing them to butt heads.
