It’s not always easy being a 90 Day Fiancé franchise star, because they usually get hit with a lot of criticism and there’s intense focus on their lives. But these cast members had one of their best years ever in 2021. There are many reasons why this year was great for them, and they all have a lot to be grateful for. This year may be coming to a close, but there are signs that next year could be just as great.

Not all cast members had a good 2021, and there were many who were ruthlessly slammed for their problematic behavior. Fans didn’t pull any punches this year, and they took a lot of 90 Day Fiancé stars to task when they felt they deserved to be called out.

However, there were a few franchise stars who walked away from 2021 unscathed. Some welcomed new babies, and others achieved long-held dreams. But for all of them, the good they experienced this year far outweighed the bad.

David Toborowsky & Annie Suwan

In 2021, David and Annie became an even bigger part of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise and cemented themselves as one of the show’s most iconic couples. The two appeared on spin-offs like Pillow Talk and 90 Day: Foody Call, and later it was announced that they would be getting their own dedicated spin-off following their relationship. David and Annie had a lot of financial success this year too. In addition to their franchise income, the couple also made bank off their Cameo videos, line of cooking oil, and their mail-order dresses.

Ashley Martson

This year, Ashley finalized her divorce from Jay Smith, and she celebrated finally being free of her cheating ex-husband. But that wasn’t all Ashley got done this year. She also opened her own salon in 2021 and there’s reportedly been huge demand for appointments. Ashley also started dating someone new this year. She’s been notoriously hesitant to share information about her life on social media, but she clearly feels confident in her relationship with her new man, because she recently went Instagram official with him.

Jenny Slatten & Sumit Singh

For nearly a decade, Jenny has wanted to marry Sumit, and 2021 was the year she finally got it done. Sumit’s parents had been a major roadblock in their relationship, but this year things changed. The Singh family astrologer made some excellent points and changed Sumit’s parents’ minds, so although they weren’t fully in support of their relationship, they agreed to no longer stand in their way. Sumit and Jenny got married in a small ceremony without any friends or family present, but at least they could say they finally tied the knot.

Loren and Alexei had some ups and downs this year, but their positives in 2021 were huge. The couple welcomed their second child, a boy named Asher, in August. Although the baby spent some time in the NICU because he was born premature, he’s now thriving at home. The two also announced they’re getting their own franchise spin-off along with David and Annie’s. Alexei and Loren are ending the year with a whimper because Alexei caught COVID-19, but overall, they had a lot to be thankful for in 2021.

Yazan Abu Harirah

90 DAY FIANCE YAZAN

In 2021, Yazan finally found a girl his parents could approve of. His previous girlfriend from the franchise, Brittany Banks, caused a lot of friction in his family. But this year, Yazan got married to a woman named Lulu who shares his religion and values. Yazan hasn’t been very active on Instagram, hopefully due to newlywed bliss, but he recently revealed that he and Lulu are expecting their first child. Overall, Yazan seems much happier now than he was when he was with Brittany.

Stephanie Matto

The year 2021 was good for Stephanie because of the opportunities she took advantage of and significant financial success. In addition to joining the cast of 90 Day: The Single Life season 2, Stephanie also launched her own content sharing platform, Unfiltrd, after OnlyFans threatened to crack down on NSFW content. Her new platform has gotten a lot of support from her 90 Day Fiancé franchise castmates and other adult content creators. Stephanie also discovered a surprising source of revenue this year that has gone viral. The franchise star has started selling her farts in jars, and her business has exploded. Now, Stephanie has made almost 100-thousand dollars in just a few weeks.

Jorge Nava

In 2020, Jorge was released from prison, and he used 2021 as his opportunity to restart his life and change his priorities. Jorge finalized his divorce from ex-wife Anfisa Arkhipchenko and fell in love with a new woman named Rhoda. The new couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Zara, in April. Jorge has been overjoyed with his new family and was excited to announce that he and Rhoda are now expecting their second child. In 2021, Jorge completely turned his life around and is doing better than ever.

Fernanda Flores

90 Day Bares All Fernanda Flores

This year, Fernanda celebrated her divorce from ex-husband Jonathan Rivera and joined The Single Life season 1 cast to get back into the dating world. Fernanda also left Chicago, where she had been living since moving to the U.S., and relocated to Miami. She’s been getting steady work as a model and fell in love with her hunky roommate, a professional boxer named Noel. This year, Fernanda seemed happier than fans have ever seen her before.

Although 2021 wasn’t a good year for everyone, when these 90 Day Fiancé franchise stars rolled the dice this past January, they got seriously lucky. There are no complaints from these cast members about the past year, and for many of them, there are definite signs that 2022 could be even better. Whether it was welcoming a new member of the family, saying “I do,” getting their own spin-offs, or just making bank, 2021 was a better than average year for these stars, and there’s a lot for them to be thankful for.
