Hamza definitely overuses smoothing filters, giving his face an almost blurry look. It’s hard to understand why he would feel the need to alter his photos the way he does. Hamza is only 26 (not 28, like he told his fiancé Memphis Sandoval), so he doesn’t have any wrinkles to smooth away. It could be that Hamza likes the stylized look of filters, but viewers think it’s unnecessary.

Natalie is no stranger to filters and photoshop, and it could stem from her insecurities. When she lived with her ex-husband Mike Youngquist in Sequim, Washington, Natalie’s confidence took a hit after some weight gain, and it might have influenced her to edit her photos more. In some of Natalie’s posts, she doesn’t just not look like herself, she doesn’t look like a human being. Natalie has lost weight and gotten plastic surgery after her split from Mike, but she still posts photos where she looks more like a Barbie doll than a person.
