Colt Johnson
Colt Johnson become a high-profile franchise cast member following his short-lived marriage to Larissa Lima in season 6. Colt and Larissa’s union resulted in an explosive divorce and led to Colt dating Jess Caroline on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and later marrying Vanessa Guerra after 90 Day: The Single Life. Both Jess and Larissa vocally criticized Colt’s manhood on multiple occasions and made it clear that they thought his genitals were lacking. Jess rocked many swimsuits but soon had to address her Instagram followers after the 90 Day Fiancé star said many people were commenting on and insulting her body. Jess clapped back at all of her critics and defended her right to exist in her body and show skin on the beach. Jess has since completely embraced her body and made it clear that she loves her curvy figure.
Big Ed Brown
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days viral star Big Ed Brown is another 90 Day Fiancé franchise cast member who has discussed being body-shamed by viewers even though he also body-shamed his former partner Rosemarie Vega. Big Ed has Klippel-Feil Syndrome, which affects the appearance of his neck. His unique look made him a viral meme and opened him up to widespread criticism from viewers due to how he appears. Big Ed has discussed being happy to represent people with his disorder and show them that they can be successful despite being different. However, Big Ed was also called out for body-shaming Rose for her body hair and insulting her breath that was due to an ulcer. Because of his unkind attitude towards women, not all viewers are sympathetic to Big Ed. However, some believe that his appearance should not be attacked.
Angela Deem
Like Big Ed, Angela Deem is a 90 Day Fiancé franchise villain whom few viewers are sympathetic towards. Angela shamelessly critiqued her husband Michael Ilesanmi and was frequently verbally abusive towards him. However, the 90 Day Fiancé star receives plenty of criticism for her body rather than her personality and actions. Angela has been called out for many aspects of her physical appearance, including her sagging skin. Angela spent Happily Ever After season 6 undergoing an extensive makeover that included having her breasts done—something that she later revealed in full during a meltdown at the Tell-All. Viewers have also been cruel by picking apart Ella’s appearance rather than focusing on her behavior. The criticism appears to have affected Ella, as she comes across as very sensitive and prone to tears. However, Ella is happy with Johnny and his support. Many viewers also praised Johnny for his attitude, as he wants to assist Ella in losing weight for her health.
Juliana Custodio
Brazilian beauty Juliana Custodio is one cast member who was body-shamed for different reasons. While many of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise cast members were criticized for being overweight or not conventionally attractive, gorgeous model Juliana has opened up about being called out for being underweight. Though she is now pregnant with her partner Ben Obscura’s child, Juliana previously had her naturally thin figure criticized by audiences. Juliana has addressed the difficulties of having her body picked apart and being told she is underweight by 90 Day Fiancé fans when she was unable to gain weight. However, many viewers are supporting Juliana throughout her pregnancy and split from Michael Jessen.
