Though some 90 Day Fiancé couples surprised viewers by staying together, other relationships have gone up in flames. While the majority of franchise couples have stayed married, many current couples are experiencing trouble in their relationships. The current cast of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has portrayed many dire marriage situations. Tiffany Franco Smith and Ronald Smith appear to be the first couple from season six to be officially separating. However, many viewers believe Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva have already broken up offscreen. Jason Hitch & Cássia Tavares
Jason Hitch and Cássia Tavares from season two were most memorable for Jason's compulsive hoarding. While the couple was largely forgotten by many viewers, the end of their relationship was not calm. Younger Brazilian woman Cássia and older Floridian Jason first filed for divorce in 2018 when Jason had a domestic violence charge. Though they tried to fix their relationship in the months after dismissing their filing, they officially ended their marriage in October 2018. Cássia has since opened up about her former husband being controlling and violent. Fortunately, she received a happy ending outside of the franchise. Cássia has gone on to graduate from the University of South Florida and marry her Italian boyfriend, Giuseppe.
Anfisa Arkhipchenko & Jorge Nava
Anfisa Arkhipchenko and Jorge Nava had a memorably explosive relationship on season four that was hard to forget. It was no surprise that the duo divorced after Anfisa's many combustible moments. The former couple has chosen different paths since they divorced while Jorge was serving a prison sentence for marijuana trafficking. The American has since significantly slimmed down and introduced fans to his girlfriend, Rhoda, and their baby girl, Zara. Meanwhile, Anfisa has altered her appearance through plastic surgery and built a successful brand focused on fitness and health. Both halves of the former couple have moved on from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise.
Ashley Martson & Jay Smith
Ashley Martson and Jay Smith had a short-lived married that resulted in several attempts at divorce. American mother Ashley filed for divorce three times before deciding to go through with her request and end her marriage to Jamaican Jay Smith. The season six couple’s split did not surprise fans, as Jay was caught on Tinder just after his Vegas nuptials to Ashley. Though Ashley first filed for divorce in 2019, it wasn’t finalized until early this year. Ashley, who turned 35 last month, has since completely exited the franchise after admitting to falsifying aspects of her storyline. She said she is now committed to living an authentic life. She also owns Martson Hair Co in York, Pennsylvania. Meanwhile, Jay lists himself as an "artist" and he appears to be dating a new woman.
Jonathan Rivera & Fernanda Flores
Jonathan Rivera and Fernanda Flores are another season six couple with a large age gap who divorced. The former couple announced their split in 2019, with Jonathan canceling Fernanda's green card paperwork. Their divorce was finalized in March 2020, but Fernanda has since bounced back. The Mexican beauty appeared on 90 Day: The Single Life, where she navigated dating after divorce and found love with boxer Noel Mikaelian. Though Fernanda faced some dating drama on the Discovery+ show, she appears happy with her new man. Meanwhile, real estate broker Jonathan also found a new lady outside of the franchise.
Yamir Castillo & Chelsea Macek
Yamir Castillo and Chelsea Macek from season two were one of the earlier couples to call it quits when the pair filed for divorce in 2017. Unlike many franchise ex-partners, the couple ended their marriage on cordial terms. Former boy band member Yamir memorably had big city dreams that took him to Chicago to pursue his music career. After separating from Yamir, Chelsea moved to Colorado with her girlfriend, Erin, before meeting helicopter mechanic Daniel. Chelsea and Dani were happily married on April 10, 2021. Meanwhile, Yamir is still pursuing music and appears to have no bad blood with his former wife.
Molly Hopkins & Luis Mendez
Molly Hopkins and Luis Mendez had an explosive marriage filled with many arguments that unsurprisingly ended in divorce. The couple split in January 2018 after just half a year of marriage. Five months later, Luis moved to New Jersey and remarried. Molly joined the cast of The Single Life and quickly found love with Brooklyn cop Kelly. The mother was not happy when Luis appeared at the Tell-All and tension was at an all-time high for the former couple, who are very much not on good terms. Luis is still living in New Jersey, while Georgia-based Molly is thriving as CEO of Livi Rae Lingerie alongside her best friend and business partner, Cynthia. Meanwhile, Molly and Kelly have gotten serious since filming.
Danielle Mullins & Mohamed Jbali
Danielle and Mohamed Jbali from season two had a memorable split that resulted in an enraged Danielle tracking Mohamed down in Miami and accusing him of using her. After several years of no-contact, the former couple revealed they had made amends and were tentatively friends. However, Danielle referenced Mohamed's comments about her feminine hygiene numerous times on The Single Life while she was once again looking for love. Mohamed appeared at the reunion via video call to apologize to Danielle. He requested that his personal life be kept out of the franchise. Meanwhile, Danielle aired her dating life for the world to see and appears happy with herself and dating.
Colt Johnson & Larissa Lima
Out of all the couples on the list, Larissa Lima and Colt Johnson likely receive the most attention from fans still. The duo split after just six months of marriage following Larissa’s explosive arguments and several arrests for violent behavior. The Brazilian bombshell had her contract with TLC canceled after she broke it for profiting off of an online lingerie show. Colt continued in the franchise and appeared on The Single Life before revealing during the Tell-All that he had eloped with his longtime friend and cheating partner, Vanessa Guerra. Many fans think Colt will be a 90 Day Fiancé cast member headed towards his second divorce, given his unfaithful past, but only time will tell.
