Fans of 90 Day Fiancé have been introduced to an array of unforgettable personalities since the show premiered in 2014. On the show, Americans fall in love with foreigners, and their partners join them in the United States after receiving K-1 visas. The couples then have 90 days to tie the knot. The show and its spinoffs have often veered into chaos, and viewers have seen franchise cast members tell wild tales.
Determining who the biggest franchise liars are isn't easy. Also, there are dozens of cast members who deserve honorable mentions. 90 Day Fiancé season 8 has seen Stephanie Davison accusing Ryan Carr of lying while she rekindles her romance with his cousin, Harris. Meanwhile, despised cast member Andrew Kenton is on a crusade to paint his fiancé Amira Lollysa as a liar and a user.
Colt Johnson
It might be hard to name the biggest liar, but season 6 cast member Colt Johnson is certainly a contender for the title. The ex-husband of Larissa Dos Santos Lima allegedly hid his wealth from her and is known to be a serial cheater. Larissa has slammed Colt and accused him of being unfaithful. The mama's boy admitted to cheating on girlfriend Jess Caroline after she uncovered multiple women he was inappropriately texting, and Jess called him a narcissist. With both women's passionate testimonies (Colt confessed to manipulating Jess), it's clear that he is an untrustworthy partner.
Deavan Clegg
Deavan Clegg appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way and some fans consider her a pathological liar. Even fellow fibber Leida Margaretha branded Deavan a liar after she allegedly talked about Leida's son. Deavan has notoriously lied about her photo editing habits and only recently admitted that she alters her photos. She is currently involved in a custody dispute with her ex-husband Jihoon Lee, who she alleges abused her daughter, Drascilla. Meanwhile, a Korean nurse claims that Deavan lied about having a miscarriage when she actually had an abortion.
Danielle Jbali
Season 2 star Danielle Jbali (née Mullins) infamously branded her ex-husband Mohamed a user, but she is a seasoned liar. Danielle was caught lying about many aspects of her life, including her involvement in credit card fraud and the passing of bad checks. Her shadiness led to Mohamed calling the police after he caught Danielle opening accounts in his name. She also allegedly stole his money and destroyed his clothes. In 2005, the reality star was arrested and charged with felony counts of theft and forgery.
Ricky Reyes
Ricky Reyes was a serial womanizer and liar on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. The shady reality star lied about being married and was accused of using Ximena Parra as his backup plan when his heart was really with another woman, Melissa. Ricky has faced social media backlash for lying to numerous women, possibly to try and stay on reality TV and remain relevant. His repeated deceptions to women made him despised by fans.
Paul Staehle
Paul Staehle, who has appeared on multiple spin-offs, has been caught in many lies and regularly angers TLC fans. His bizarre relationship with his wife Karine leaves many fans disturbed due to its drastic ups and downs. For example, he claimed Karine was missing last year before reuniting with her. Recently, he accused his wife of cheating on him before happily showing off their newborn son, and then planning a DNA test for the baby. Fans find Paul's behavior to be pathological and possibly dangerous, and they believe that he spins wild stories for attention and money.
Leida Margaretha
Season 6 star Leida Margaretha recently lost the unofficial title of the most despised franchise cast member to Deavan Clegg. Fans believe nothing that the Indonesian native Margaretha says, including her claim that she was a doctor back home. Fans can't stand Leida and they are skeptical of everything about her, from her career to her family’s alleged wealth. Viewers find that nothing about Leida's wealthy backstory fits with how she came across on the show.
Jorge Nava
Jorge Nava had a memorable season 4 relationship with Anfisa Arkhipchenko. Jorge misrepresented his wealth to his Russian partner, who was only with him for the money. However, he was reportedly only with her because of her looks. He lied about things such as Anfisa's job and speaking to a divorce lawyer because he found it was easier to lie than be honest. The habitual deceiver ended up spending time in jail for marijuana trafficking.
Ed Brown
Big Ed Brown has become a franchise villain due to the way he treated Rosemarie Vega on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. Fans watched Big Ed lie to and manipulate his significantly younger partner. After breaking up with him, Rose accused Big Ed of using her for fame. Big Ed lied frequently to Rose in order to get what he wanted, from saying he wanted children when he didn't to falsifying his height. It's no wonder Rose became an Internet hero for dumping the compulsive liar.
Ashley Martson
Ashley Martson from season 6 is one liar who actually admitted to her falsehoods. The former reality star came clean about misrepresenting her life and her very messy relationship with her ex-husband, Jay Smith. Ashley has claimed Jay cheated on her multiple times, and she filed for divorce from him a whopping three times. She kept changing her mind about ending their relationship. Viewers have even accused her of faking her lupus struggle.
Angela Deem
Last but not least is pathological liar, manipulator, and alleged abuser, Angela Deem. The season 7 wife of Michael Ilesanmi is often praised for her weight loss, but many viewers can't ignore her terrible behavior. Fans have accused her of lying to and manipulating Michael and his family about trying to have a baby (and then taking back her words and blaming the family). Viewers think she is toxic to her younger husband.
