Cassia Tavares slammed 90 Day Fiancé co-star Nicole Nafziger for using her ex-husband Jason Hitch’s death to make money on Instagram. Cassia was previously married to Jason, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 and died from the complications of the illness on Tuesday at the hospital where he was previously admitted. However, amidst various news outlets reporting Jason’s passing, fellow Florida resident Nicole used the man’s death as the perfect opportunity for clickbait. And as usual, Nicole scammed her followers by alluding that it’s her own ex-fiancé, Azan Tefou, who’s dead.

The 45-year-old Jason is best remembered for his season where he struck an online romance with Cassia, who previously dated his friend. The couple made their reality TV debut via 90 Day Fiancé in 2014, and since then, Jason and Cassia have had quite a few issues in their relationship. First, Jason and Cassia dealt with an age gap of 15 years, and has communication and trust issues between them. Jason and Cassia infamously filed for divorce twice, and by September 2018, they finally went their separate ways. In her moving reaction to Jason’s sudden death, Cassia admitted that she was shocked upon hearing the news as she first thought it was a joke.

However, a joke is what 90 Day Fiancé cast member Nicole turned Jason’s death into by making a clickbait article post out of it. She posted a photo of herself and Azan on her Instagram feed with the caption, “#RIP Heartbroken to confirm he DIED 💔 #LinkInBio” and disabled her comments. Those who weren’t aware of Jason’s death and Nicole’s clickbait business probably believed that Azan passed away, though this isn’t Nicole’s first time doing it. Nicole’s cheap money-making antics caught the attention of a grieving Cassia, who then blasted the woman via her own Instagram Stories. “@alwaysnicole,” wrote Cassia, a University of South Florida graduate, and added, “I get all of that ‘link in bio’ BS but trying to make money off someone’s death is a new kind of low!

Cassia noted that it “hurts” her that she had to bring up the issue in this manner. “But someone needed to tell you in public,” she explained. “JUST STOP,” Cassia said, angrily. However, Nicole has not yet responded to her comments. Every once in a while, unassuming followers, out of the 668,000 that Nicole has, fall prey to her clickbait articles, which she shares with completely unrelated images on her Stories and feed. Many times, Nicole has sparked fake rumors of her being pregnant. As noted earlier, she "killed" Azan off for profits by sharing a selfie of herself and Azan with “RIP” on it. In September this year, Nicole shared “shocking news” about Angela Deem, which was a photo of a woman lying in a hospital bed smoking.

And a month ago, Nicole also faked her own death. Many followers have unfollowed Nicole thanks to her problematic posts. She claims she works with a company that posts these sketchy articles on her behalf to Instagram, and Nicole gets paid each time a gullible 90 Day Fiancé fan panics and clicks on the link. With Nicole being called out by Cassia, hopefully, her trend of fooling her innocent followers will end. Fans understand that single mother Nicole does it for the money, but should she be doing it at the cost of tarnishing her reputation and embarrassing herself by disappointing her franchise fans and friends?
