Former 90 Day Fiancé star Alina Kozhevnikova recently posted a video on YouTube to reveal that her ex-boyfriend, Caleb Greenwood, helped her and Elijah leave Russia and move to a different country. Fans may remember Russian native Alina from her appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5. Alina and Caleb found each other on Facebook 13 years ago, but they lost touch after a while. They recently reconnected and decided to pursue each other romantically. After chatting online for four months, the couple decided to meet in Turkey and document their love story.

While the couple's story was unfolding on TV, some eagle-eyed 90 Day Fiancé viewers discovered Alina's old insensitive posts online. She was accused of being racist, and many fans demanded that TLC fire her from the show. Consequently, the show producers terminated Alina's contract and uninvited her and Caleb from the Tell-All. Since then, former reality star Alina has been trying to redeem herself with fans by posting inspiring messages on her social media. She has also openly condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine on her Instagram. Since Alina has been calling out Russian propaganda amid the war in Ukraine, she no longer feels safe in her homeland.

In her latest Youtube video, Alina revealed that she and her roommate Elijah decided to leave their country. After much thought and consideration, they planned to move to Buenos Aires, Argentina. But unfortunately, they were unable to buy the airline tickets to the new country with their Russian credit/debit cards. Thankfully, they are still good friends with Caleb, who purchased their tickets with his card. During the 15-minute video, Alina said, "He (Caleb) officially helped us escape Russia, and we are very grateful to him." She added that they were eventually able to return the money to the digital marketing specialist Caleb.

Alina mentioned that if her 90 Day Fiancé co-star hadn't helped them, they don't know what they would have done to escape Russia, which has become unsafe for its own citizens. Thanks to the Arizona native, Alina and Elijah have safely made it to Argentina. The Russian natives are living in an Airbnb for now and have already bought their new sim cards. Since Alina knows Spanish, it has been easy for her to adjust to the new country.

90 Day Fiancé viewers are glad to see that Alina and Elijah have left Russia. They hope that the duo will eventually find a permanent way to settle in Argentina. When Caleb was first featured on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, he was considered rude. He was also slammed for his treatment of Alina. But it now seems that he didn't deserve the shade from 90 Day Fiancé fans. He helped Alina and Elijah, despite how their story concluded on 90 Day Fiancé spin-off.
