Caleb Greenwood from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days is being called out by fans for focusing on his own selfish needs and not prioritizing booking an accessible hotel for his Russian girlfriend Alina. While Alina quickly became a fan-favorite owing to her charming personality and quirky Wi-Fi song, the same can’t be said about Caleb. Caleb’s comments about picking Alina up and him not approving her best friend Elijah joining them in their Turkey trip annoyed 90 Day Fiancé viewers. Some blamed Caleb for not being ready to date Alina, and his packing protein powder, tarot cards, and a fifty pack of condoms instead of finding a hotel with an elevator somehow proves it too.
Episode 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days was uncomfortable for some fans to watch because of Caleb’s behavior and also the way his parents reacted to him telling them about his “little person” girlfriend Alina. They claimed they were “shocked” and asked him questions about Alina’s height, and if their future children would be “like her.” A major red flag was also Caleb’s parents not knowing about Alina having a very rare form of dwarfism called diastrophic dysplasia considering the 90 Day Fiancé couple know each other for the last 13 years. Meanwhile, Caleb didn’t redeem himself in the episode either when he discussed that sex with Alina would be different than “regular size sex.” He’d imagined that he couldn’t make out and have sex with Alina at the same time, called it a “different world” and concluded that “Alina’s size wouldn’t matter” since their “connection is so deep.”
Fans watched Alina struggling to climb the steps of the hotel in Turkey to get to her room on the second floor without an elevator that Caleb had booked for them. The disappointment on Alina’s face was evident when she figured Caleb had failed to meet his responsibility of booking the hotel. The toilet seat was high, the bed was higher than Alina, and she wasn’t a huge fan of the design. Alina mentioned how she’d need a chair to access the toilet. She exclaimed that she was upset and nervous because it made her think that Caleb doesn’t understand her abilities. Fans like @Ayo48 took to Twitter after the 90 Day Fiancé episode to ask, “So Caleb has considered the logistics of sex with her but not the logistics of pushing her wheelchair for her or helping her?"

The trailer has already teased Caleb inappropriately commenting that Alina is much smaller than he thought she would be in person. On the bright side, Alina’s scenes with Elijah, her bandmate, and best friend are being applauded for their wholesomeness. Fans are glad Alina has Elijah for company, and hope she doesn’t kick him to the curb when she finally sees Caleb.
