Is 90 Day Fiancé couple Brittany Banks and Yazan’s relationship a publicity stunt? That’s what most of the reality show's fans have come to believe. 90 Day Fiancé viewers claim that Brittany, who already had over 300k Instagram followers before the show, came on it to launch her rap career. While most say that her forgetting about her still being married, and then about having filed for divorce were the biggest red flags. So did the 90 Day Fiancé star “use” Yazan for fame? Brittany has declared otherwise while clapping back at a hater.
Brittany, who rapped her way into 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, revealed quite a few shockers during her first confessional itself. The Florida native had spoken about being married at 17, and her love for older men, with the oldest one being 85. Brittany’s braces seemed to have helped her find these “settled” gentlemen until she came across the fresh-out-of-college Jordanian Yazan. Brittany bid bye-bye to her rap career and her bikini pics on Instagram and showed up with a bottle of alcohol at Amman. Furthermore, Brittany also hugged a 90 Day Fiancé crew which caused her first major on-screen fight with Yazan. Owing to this, and the fact that Brittany was still married to her Haitian ex, fans wondered why she would date Yazan in the first place. Viewers started wondering if it was just to be on 90 Day Fiancé and boost her Instagram game with reality TV fame. However, Brittany, who never holds back when defending herself on social media, had some truth bombs to share on getting confronted by a critic.
In her latest Instagram post, Brittany speaks about women’s rights and how she is free to dress whichever way she wants. And as usual, Brittany’s followers dragged Yazan’s family and their dislike of her Instagram content into the situation. However, one comment that said, “Hope you didn’t just run that man’s life for some quick 'fame’" caught the 90 Day Fiancé star’s attention. Brittany was quick to ask the girl to shut up and declare, “nobody on TLC is famous.” Brittany continued, “If I wanted to be famous it would be off a rapper or athlete, I dated not Yazan a*s.” The Cameo star also followed in the footsteps of her 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way co-star Deavan Clegg and added, “ When the Tell-All come out I hope I get my apology from every single woman who attacked me and judged my character.”
A few months ago, fans had spotted 90 Day Fiancé’s rapper extraordinaire Usman “Sojaboy” Umar commenting “Babygirl” on Brittany’s posts. Since Brittany was, at that time, oddly back in America and also feuding with Yazan online, fans assumed that Usman had chosen her over his OG Babygirl Lisa Hamme.
But just as Brittany denied even knowing him, 90 Day Fiancé investigators spotted her in the company of another rapper K-Slim. Neither Brittany nor K-Slim have denied the rumors yet, which have led to further fodder for the gossip mills. Now that Brittany is claiming that she would gladly choose a rapper/athlete over Yazan for fame, does it mean that this will be 90 Day Fiancé star’s next move?
