A lot has been going on in the lives of 90 Day Fiancé season 8 couple Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina. Since her arrival in America, Julia has not at all been given the life she wished for, although Brandon never does fail to give her some morning tea. But while TLC viewers think that Brandon’s parents’ Ron and Betty’s strict rules and farm chores might have driven Julia back to Russia, they may be mistaken. A new photo posted by 90 Day Fiancé star Brandon’s family on Facebook suggests he and Julia are still together.
Whenever a new couple shows up on 90 Day Fiancé, and the slightest of troubles show up, the first question people think of is, “are they still together?” Brandon, 27, revealed he’d met Julia, 26, in an unusual way for TLC standards: via a friend’s video call. But their relationship did take a different turn. Fans saw that Julia’s lifestyle as a city-bred go-go dancer was in stark contrast to Brandon’s farmboy routine. Even bigger problems came at bay for 90 Day Fiancé’s Brandon with his parents opposing to every moment he spent with Julia at their Hummingbird Acres Farm. Ron and Betty banned Brandon and Julia from having sex or sleeping in the same room and expected her to do farm duties. But as the 90 Day Fiancé star Julia gave herself an ultimatum of going back home if things didn’t work out, a picture from the strangest source shows how she’s still in America.
When it was revealed that Brandon’s “family friend” Aspen is actually his mom Betty’s sister, 90 Day Fiancé fans figured they were being frauded. Over on Facebook, Aspen also goes by a different name, i.e. Angi Shattuck (Cales). She has even referred to Brandon as her “nephew.” And on a page that Aspen/Angi has created for Brandon and Julia’s reality TV romance, a photo from December 2020 appears to show the two together. A Reddit post also shows the same two people from Brandon’s family, who can be presumed to be his uncle and cousin, celebrating New Year 2021 with him and Julia.
The picture shows 90 Day Fiancé star Brandon lifting Julia in his arms with the text “2021 Happy New Year” in the background. And the comments on the thread, as expected, show varying reactions from TLC viewers. “That is Betty's brother-in-law (the hired hand 'Aspen' husband and son. Recognize them from her fb,” wrote one 90 Day Fiancé fan. Another cried, “Ugh they're STILL together," while one fan pointed out, “I wonder why people would think they would have broken up?” A viewer, who seems to have given up on 90 Day Fiancé, notes, “People are so gullible! 90% of the 90DF couples stay together and get married. The show is blatantly FAKE.”
Fake or not, this happy family picture of the young 90 Day Fiancé stars Brandon and Julia does suggest a happily ever after in their future. Whether or not Julia became pregnant is still a puzzle, but considering it’s been way over three months, or 90 days since she’s arrived in the U.S., one can certainly say that this 90 Day Fiancé couple, too, could now be married.
