Since Julia has moved to the US for the 90 Days on the K-1 visa, she has had to live in a separate room than Brandon due to his parents' wishes, and he has hardly had the time to see her. She has also been pressured by Brandon's mom, Betty, to wake up at the crack of dawn each morning to feed the animals on the farm. Fans were quick to come to Julia's defense that she should not be forced into working on the farm. However, many fans found themselves switching to siding with Ron and Betty after Brandon made an uncomfortable joke about his pregnancy scare with Julia.
Many fans think that Betty and Ron have become the villains of season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé because of their controlling attitude toward Brandon and Julia. This led many fans to look for a person to compare Betty's unique voice, face, and personality to. Instead of a real person, they found an animated character named Randall Weems from Disney's late 90s show, Recess. Randall was the antagonist on the kids show, known for being a snitch and spying on his classmates. One Redditor said "Same energy, same hair.
