When 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans saw Ariela Weinberg worrying about staying in Ethiopia, many wondered why Biniyam couldn’t go with her to America instead. Ariela’s concerns about her upcoming delivery seemed valid, but the way she behaved with Biniyam raised eyebrows, as it could be considered belittling. Even though Biniyam wants the best life for Ariela and the baby, the chances of him leaving Addis Ababa for America are slim. Biniyam from 90 Day Fiancé's disastrous earlier marriage is the reason why.

When 28-year-old Ariela from Princeton, NJ, spoke about moving to Ethiopia to be with baby daddy Biniyam, 29, her family was concerned. An even bigger red flag was Ariela from 90 Day Fiancé speaking about Biniyam having an American ex-wife. Much like Ariela, the ex-wife Bria had met Biniyam in Ethiopia but had left him, taking their son Simon along with her. Ariela’s mother Janice brought up the Green Card, but Biniyam showed promise when it came to being a responsible father. His jobs, including personal trainer and club dancer, were not high-paying ones, but it’s not like Ariela wasn’t aware of this. So, when Ariela fought with him on the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, over renting an apartment that cost triple his monthly salary, it didn’t seem right. Biniyam (who’s known as “Baby Cool”) lost his cool and told Ariela, “I’m done.” The only option for the 90 Day Fiancé twosome to live a comfortable life (as per Ariela’s whims) would be for the 90 Day Fiancé couple to relocate to the USA, but Biniyam’s past makes that option hard to attain.

The Ethiopian 90 Day Fiancé celeb has been vocal about his ex-wife Bria cutting off all forms of communication and not allowing him to see their child. Biniyam says that she left him due to a misunderstanding about him talking to other girls, but also that Bria is now with her childhood sweetheart. Biniyam and Bria, who is a New London, Connecticut resident, met at a club in Addis Ababa in 2014, while she was working in the country as a volunteer. The pair dated for two years until they got married in 2016 with a traditional Ethiopian ceremony. According to a report by HawkEye, the plan was for Biniyam to go along with Bria to America when she became pregnant. Bria was already in the States to attend her sister’s wedding and Biniyam was supposed to join her there for the delivery. However, Biniyam Shibre applied for a visitor’s visa at the American Embassy in Addis Ababa and was denied. Bria decided to fly to Addis Ababa, but the plan changed its course when the unborn baby was diagnosed with gastroschisis, a condition where intestines and other organs protrude outside of the infant’s body. This condition was not treatable in Ethiopia. Biniyam again applied for a visitor's visa, which was denied a second time.

Bria’s mother stepped in to get help from Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley, but even his letter of recommendation to the American Embassy in Addis Ababa didn’t get results. The 90 Day Fiancé star, who also had with him a letter from Bria’s hospital at that time, was denied a visa during his appointment. Biniyam from 90 Day Fiancé did eventually get to go to America, where he also got a church wedding, but on humanitarian parole instead of a visa. “Biniyam Shibre was likely denied entry to the United States because he lived in a third-world country like Ethiopia,” says the article, but he received help from Congressman Loebsack which helped him to come to America.

Biniyam and Bria seemed to have returned to Ethiopia sometime later, leading up the events prior to her leaving him, and they reportedly took Simon along. If Biniyam were to make a fourth application for a visa, this time with a new American partner, the odds would probably be against him getting that visa. Although the 90 Day Fiancé star’s many talents could help him land a job in the USA, which could help him make more than $500 a month, he may have to continue staying in Ethiopia, whether Ariela likes it or not. 90 Day Fiancé fans are rooting for this couple to make it through this disagreement and for Ariela to stick with Biniyam, so he doesn't see his family being torn apart a second time.
