Former 90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed revealed why he has a tattoo of his face on his leg. The 56-year-old reality star is well known as someone who is always chasing fame. He first featured on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4 with his love interest Rosemarie Vega. The two met online, and Ed went to the Philippines to meet Rose. Their relationship dwindled due to Ed's antics and lies, which caused Rose to dump him by the end of the season. Ed has also embarrassed Rose in front of millions of viewers so that he could get a slice of fame from it. That caused Rose to slam him publicly on her Instagram and reveal his true face.

Just after the season ended, Ed started profiting from his newfound fame. Last year Ed publicized himself by selling his scary face mask for All Hallows' Eve. Ed requested his fans to wear his face mask for Halloween. His obsession with his face didn't end there, and he got his face tattooed on his leg. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans were shocked by this and thought it was extremely narcissistic. Even 90 Day Fiancé star Robert Springs said, "Ed has his own face tattooed on his body. What type of s*** is that?" While this stunt did get Big Ed a lot of notoriety, many fans were mostly confused about why he got the tattoo.

Finally, the San Diego native has revealed his intentions behind the tattoo of his face on his leg. On 90 Day Bares All (via ET), Ed told the show host Shaun Robinson that it began when people started sharing pictures of their tattoos. He said that his fans got his face tattooed on their bodies. In Ed's words, "On their body, on their chest, on their arm -- of my face. So, I'm like, well, if they think I'm that special maybe I should consider putting my face on me, so I did." Earlier, many fans thought that Ed got this tattoo because he is an attention seeker.

Whatever the reason may have been, many fans do call him a narcissist. The majority of the people on social media don't appreciate his tattoo. A fan said (via @truecrime_jankie), "These people getting tattoos of his face on their bodies need to see a therapist." Another fan doubted Ed's explanation and wrote, "Don't believe this for a second. Let's see the evidence. Show us the photos, Ed!"

It is difficult to believe that some fans actually got Ed's face tattooed on their bodies. None of such fans have come forward to show off their love for Ed. If Ed had such fans, he must have posted their tattoos on his social media. Ed's reason for getting this tattoo seems a bit far-fetched but could be true. But maybe the 90 Day Fiancé star would have gotten much better reception if he had gotten a symbolic or meaningful tattoo instead.
