“Big Ed” Brown is openly looking for love on 90 Day: The Single Life. The 55-year-old was memorably dumped by Rosemarie Vega after appearing alongside her on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. Viewers celebrated Rose’s move to dump her ex after he was repeatedly rude to her. However, this was far from the father’s first split. Big Ed revealed in an exclusive interview with Screen Rant the reasons behind his first marriage failing.

Big Ed remains one of the most polarizing personalities in the franchise, largely due to the way he treats women. The 55-year-old has amassed a large following and found success through various online ventures. However, he is disliked by many for the way he treats his romantic interests, as well as his taste in far younger women. The Single Life recently saw Big Ed being rejected in a disastrous failed attempt to kiss his friend Liz. However, the father has been living it up in the past week as he parties with dozens of young women in Florida.

When it comes to his past love life, Big Ed opened up about why things didn’t work out with his ex-wife. He felt like he got married too young when he married his ex-wife at age 24 for two years. Though the marriage quickly dissolved, he stated that he held off from dating because he wanted to be there for his daughter until she was grown up. Now that he is once again looking for love, he revealed the problems he had in his past relationship. "I want someone that’s not going to try to change me. I want someone who is going to let me be Big Ed. And that’s one of the big reasons why my marriage failed," he said.

Big Ed stated that in a way, his ex-wife tried to take away his identity. He didn't like that she wasn't approving of his sense of humor. "I can't give that up for anybody," he said. He added that he considers himself to be a natural entertainer who enjoys being the center of attention and he needs to be with someone who accepts this part of him. "Most important would be they’re going to accept me for who I am and I'm going to accept them for who they are equally," he stated about what he is looking for in a partner. While the 55-year-old made it clear that he didn't find these qualities in his ex-wife, he is hoping to find them in a new partner.

While Big Ed is adamant about finding love, he won't waver from being with a younger woman. This is a move that his daughter does not approve of, though she also isn't fond of her father dating on television. "My daughter will always be unhappy with me when it comes to me having a girlfriend- regardless of age or money. Just unhappy," he said. He added that he devoted all of his youth to be a father, and now he wants to reclaim lost time by dating younger women. "I don’t think I’m ever going to find anybody that’s going to be good enough for my daughter, he admitted. At the same time, he wants to make the most of his dating life and find a fun and adventurous younger woman to date.

While his daughter might not be a fan of her dad looking for love on air, she is happy about his recent weight loss. The reality star has been working to slim down and get in shape to be healthier and happier. He also employed a dating coach to help him better connect with women. Big Ed currently is seeking a partner aged 28 to 34 to be his future wife. His search for love is being broadcast to viewers on 90 Day: The Single Life. Hopefully, the next time he heads down the aisle, it will be for good.
