In the Summer of 2021, Ed shared a lipsync of the viral moment between him and Rose. He captioned the post, "Be happy and smile," but it wasn't easy for fans to feel joyful about him using the famous dialogue yet again. Viewers thought that the TikTok was a mocking remark towards Rose, who dumped Ed towards the end of the show.
