Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers were shocked to see Betty Gibbs's reaction when her son Brandon Gibbs talked about moving out of the house. It was surprising for fans to see Betty crying because her 27-year-old married son was ready to start his new life with his wife, Julia Trubkina. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers may remember that when the Russian native Julia arrived in the United States, she lived with her husband's parents on their farm. She didn't like working on the farm with the animals, but she did it because Brandon wasn't financially stable enough to lease an apartment.

When Julia first talked about moving out, Betty broke down into tears and seemingly tried to emotionally blackmail her son. While crying, she said that she wanted to gain a daughter and not lose her own son. Betty and her husband, Ron, think that the 90 Day Fiancé star Julia is manipulating their son. They don't believe that Brandon is prepared or responsible enough to have his own apartment because he has never paid a single bill while living on the farm. It seems like Betty and Ron are wrong because Brandon has already signed the lease of his new apartment.

He is all set to move out with Julia within two weeks. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers were proud to see Brandon grow up and move out of his overbearing parents' house. But, Betty and Ron couldn't even fake their happiness and ended up mocking their son's new windowless house. They were also disturbed to learn that Brandon and Julia didn't include them in the house-hunting process and rented the apartment without their input. Their negative reaction has frustrated many 90 Day Fiancé viewers. A fan wrote (via Reddit), "BETTY BETTY BETTY… BRANDON IS 27 YEARS Old. I was married with three kids when I was Brandon's age!!!"

Another fan called Betty "wretched" and wrote, "She really wants to keep him as her baby boy and doesn't want him to grow up." Other fans chimed in, "When he tries to man up, they just do things to put him down," and "They're guilt tripping the hell out of him." A few fans think that Betty and Ron didn't want their son and daughter-in-law to leave because they wanted them to work as free laborers on the farm. Now, they may have to find a new farmhand and pay them.

Betty does describe herself as an overprotective mother, and it seems like she was just upset that Brandon didn't involve her in the house-hunting process. Brandon and Julia's latest pictures suggest that they have already moved to Richmond and are now living in their new house. Betty and Ron may have been a little hurt initially, but they have now become used to leaving without Brandon on the farm. 90 Day Fiancé fans have also noticed that Betty often writes adorable messages on Julia's social media pictures. Perhaps their relationship has since improved.
