Mother's Day is a notoriously important holiday for 90 Day Fiancé star Brandon Gibbs' mother, Betty, who decided to celebrate the holiday with a sweet Instagram post. The farm boy has been accused by 90 Day Fiancé fans of being too close to his parents and unable to leave the nest. However, it appears that Brandon and his wife, Julia, are enjoying the holiday with his parents.
When it comes to Mother's Day in the Gibbs' household, the holiday is something Betty takes very seriously. Last year, Brandon and his Russian bride, Julia, were planning to marry during Mother's Day weekend. Though the holiday is only held on a single Sunday, Betty was devastated to find out that she would have to be sharing her special weekend with Julia. At the time, Julia and Betty were experiencing a lot of conflicts. While Julia resented following her in-laws' rules while living under their roof, Betty was jealous of Julia spending time with Brandon. Fortunately, everything turned out for the best, as Julia appears to be on better terms with her in-laws. Betty also had her entire "Mother's Day weekend" last year, since Brandon and Julia were forced to marry quickly due to the pandemic.
90 Day Fiancé mom Betty took to Instagram to pose with her son and wish all mothers a happy Mother's Day, which led to an outpouring of praise. She shared a series of photos that featured her, Brandon, Julia and her husband, Ron. "Cheers to all the amazing Moms out there!! This is your special day… Have a wonderful day!," Betty captioned the photos. Betty received praise from many of her followers, including her daughter-in-law. "Love you," Julia commented on the post. The Russian dancer wasn't the only franchise cast member to share some love. Fellow season 8 cast member Amira Lollysa also wrote a heartfelt comment to Betty. "Happy Mother’s Day my dear Betty! Though Betty started out as a 90 Day Fiancé villain, the mother of Brandon appears to have made some supporters. Tensions were also eased after 90 Day Fiancé's Julia admitted that her in-laws were not forcing her to work on their farm and that she was willingly taking over her husband's chores to spend more time with him. The change in narrative caused many viewers to view Betty more favorably. "Happy Mother’s Day to you Betty! Love from Florida," one fan commented. "Happy Mother's day!! While farm boy Brandon agreed to move to a bigger city in Virginia, Russian dancer and 90 Day Fiancé star Julia has her heart set on living in Las Vegas. The couple is also dealing with Julia's jealous streak over other women potentially being interested in Brandon. Brandon and Julia's story continues in new episodes of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show. Meanwhile, Betty appears to be enjoying her special day with her beloved son.
