90 Day Fiancé season 9 was full of drama, however, there were also some genuinely heartwarming moments in the mix. One of the most controversial couples of season 9 was Yve Arellano and Mohamed Abdelhamed, who announced their unsurprising split after the season finished airing. Mohamed had cheated on Yve, and the pair filed for divorce shortly after. Bilal Hazziez and Shaeeda Sween also received mixed reactions from fans, as Bilal was accused of being controlling and hypocritical. Emily Bieberly and Kobe Blaise were also targets of a fair amount of criticism from fans.

Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre were the only returning couple of the season, after appearing on two consecutive seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Kara and Guillermo Rojer were another new couple who announced they were expecting a baby during the Tell-All, as did new couple Patrick Mendes and Thaís Ramone. Miona and Jibri Bell were the final new couple introduced, and were questioned by fans who believed that they were already married and faking their storyline to simply get on the show.

While Jibri and Miona may not have been a fan-favorite couple on 90 Day Fiancé season 9, their wedding was nonetheless one of the best moments of the season. Jibri and Miona got married at Joshua Tree National Park, which proved to be a beautiful location for a wedding. Jibri's grandmother Cheyenne also served as the officiant of the wedding, which made it more personal and unique to the couple. Jibri and Miona's good friend Igor was the only other person in attendance, and he made the long trip to be there for the couple's big moment.

Jibri's parents were not in attendance, because they claimed that they did not have enough notice, although some viewers speculated that the real reason behind it was the fact that they did not support the relationship. While Jibri and Miona's wedding may have been small, this ultimately did not matter, as the couple had everything they dreamed of. Miona loved her dress and flowers, and everyone was happy with the location as well. Jibri and Miona's wedding was far from traditional, but it was clear that it was perfect for the couple, which makes it one of the season's happiest moments.

4 4. Biniyam's First MMA Fight

Another one of 90 Day Fiancé season 9's best moments was Biniyam's first MMA fight, which he won with flying colors. Biniyam wasted no time focusing on his career once he arrived in the United States, and immediately took an interest in MMA fighting. Biniyam began training at a local gym, and his coach was impressed by his talent. Biniyam practiced martial arts in Ethiopia, so he already had some experience with fighting techniques. Before long, Biniyam's MMA coach decided that Biniyam was ready for his first live match.

Biniyam won his first match in under a minute, after he tackled his opponent and got him into a choke hold. Biniyam's first fight was a huge success, and both Ariela and her mom Janice were there to celebrate his big win. Biniyam was visibly proud, and further impressed the crowd by doing a backflip off the edge of the fighting cage. Biniyam also represented his home country of Ethiopia, and ran around with the Ethiopian flag behind him both before and after the match.

3 3. The Surprise Pregnancy Reveals At The Tell-All

One of 90 Day Fiancé season 9's best moments took place during the Tell-All reunion. Host Shaun Robinson announced at the beginning of the night that two couples from the season 9 were currently expecting, to the surprise of many fans. The two couples turned out to be Kara and Guillermo, along with Thaís and Patrick. Ironically, both Kara and Thaís were 16 weeks pregnant at the time the Tell-All was filmed. Thaís and Patrick's daughter Aleesi was born in November 2022, while Kara and Guillermo's son Nicolas was born two weeks later in December.

The pregnancy announcements were a truly heartwarming moment, as it was clear that both expecting couples were elated to be new parents. While the pregnancies might not have been planned, each couple now has an adorable newborn baby that they will love and cherish forever. Both of the respective couples also faced numerous issues and disagreements throughout the season, but for both Kara and Guillermo as well as Thaís and Patrick, their newest addition appears to have brought them closer together.

2 2. Biniyam's Arrival In The United States

The second-best moment of 90 Day Fiancé season 9 also included Biniyam, who was one of the seasons fan-favorites. Biniyam and Ariela decided early in the season that they were ready to move to the United States, as Ariela felt that staying in Ethiopia was no longer healthy for their relationship. Ariela's family was also eager to have the couple move to America, as they wanted to spend more time with Biniyam and Ariela's son, Avi. After an emotional goodbye with his sisters, Biniyam got on the plane with Ariela and Avi to start their new journey in America.

When Biniyam and Ariela arrived at the airport, Ariela's parents Janice and Fred were waiting for the couple with signs welcoming Biniyam to America. It was a sweet gesture, considering that Biniyam had never been to the U.S. before and was anxious about moving to a new country for the first time. Biniyam and Ariela got a warm welcome from her entire family, which can be rare when it comes to 90 Day Fiancé families. Furthermore, Ariela's parents took it upon themselves to get the couple their own apartment, which gave them a comfortable start to their new lives.

1 1. Kobe Meeting Koban For The First Time

The best moment of 90 Day Fiancé season 9 was also the most emotional, and consisted of Kobe meeting his one-year-old son Koban for the first time ever. Emily had gotten pregnant with Koban in China, and she had to return to the United States shortly after, while Kobe had to return to his home country of Cameroon. The COVID-19 pandemic occurred shortly after, which put a hold on Kobe's K-1 visa and prevented him from being present for Koban's birth or being able to travel to meet him for some time.

Kobe finally got to meet Koban one day after arriving in Kansas, and he immediately teared up after laying eyes on his son. It was an emotional moment, which made Emily begin to cry as well. It was clear that the moment meant absolutely everything to Kobe, as he really wanted his son to know him as his father. Kobe proved himself to be a wonderful father to Koban on 90 Day Fiancé, and he and Emily later welcomed Koban's younger sister Scarlett into the family.
