Before Mahogany and Ben finally met face-to-face, viewers were convinced that the Peruvian beauty was a catfish. Between refusing to video chat with Ben and ignoring his attempts at communication, fans were actually more shocked to find out that Mahogany was a real person. That being said, Ben finally confronted Mahogany and her lies during the Tell-All after several of her lies were exposed. Mahogany was revealed to look different than the pictures she put online, and she also lied about her age and home in Peru.
All in all, Ben and Mahogany share one thing in common despite their glaring differences: an inability to be truthful until confronted. With honesty and trust two essential components of a relationship, this similarity is more of a negative than a positive.
