Sojaboy AKA Usman Umar has returned to 90 Day Fiancé with a new girlfriend, and his ex-wife Lisa “Baby Girl” Hamme can't let the announcement of his new appearance go without her own response. When TLC dropped the trailer for 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5, seeing the seven new couples took fans by surprise. But one face amongst the fourteen belongs to Usman, who is back to romancing a much older American woman named Kim Menzies. As TLC viewers are still recovering from the news, Lisa is giving mixed signals on Instagram.
Lisa and Usman’s relationship on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4 was perhaps one of the franchise’s most rocky ones yet. Usman was 29 when he proposed to Pennsylvania’s Lisa, 53, nine months after meeting her online. After almost breaking up, Lisa and Usman married in Nigeria on August 30, 2019. By December 2020, the musician revealed they were no longer together and he served her divorce papers. Meanwhile, Lisa accused Usman of using her to become part of 90 Day Fiancé and promote his music career. Lisa, who is 23 years older than her former husband, also accused Usman of posing a romance scam. On the other hand, Usman claimed it was Lisa doing the scamming, as she was withholding a $26,000 check from his work on Cameo from him.
In April this year, former 90 Day Fiancé star Lisa announced she was now married to her best friend Tracey, who is closer to her age. Fans notice Lisa looks happy in her Instagram photos with her new husband. So, when Lisa reacted to Usman’s entry in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, most viewers couldn’t believe their eyes. Dressed in a red hoodie and holding a bottle of vodka, Lisa added a clip of Usman hugging his new love Kim to her video. The voiceover on the post said, “Oh sh**, here we go again,” made famous as a meme by GTA San Andreas. In her caption, Lisa also tagged Kim, but not before adding the hashtag “#onlyonebabygirllisa” and the "😈😂😈" emojis.
Several 90 Day Fiancé viewers commented on Baby Girl Lisa’s video, including her co-star Rose Vega, who responded with three laughing emojis. Tom Brooks too jokingly asked Lisa, “Is that the title of the new track?” But one fan wanted to know if Lisa is “jealous,” as someone else observed, “History is repeating itself my sister.” Fans also laughed that Usman might finally be able to make his American dream a reality and some happened to praise Baby Girl Lisa for looking back at her relationship and laughing about it.
As far as the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days trailer reveals, Usman’s new partner Kim also has anger issues, just like his Baby Girl Lisa. Kim says she’s a divorcee who reached out to Usman via social media and, after chatting for two months, realized she was in love with him. Meanwhile, Usman, who had a bad experience with his American ex-wife, invites Kim to Tanzania where he’s filming a music video. However, Kim soon realizes Usman may not be the man of her dreams, as her 90 Day Fiancé intro shows her throwing a glass of water on his face as she mouths “f*** you” upon learning that Sojaboy’s video shoot is about a different woman.
