90 Day Fiancé fans can't help but notice the similarities between 52-year-old "Baby Girl" Lisa Hamme and 54-year-old Angela Deem. Both women have persued love interests that happen to be much younger Nigerian man. Lisa will have a tough lesson to learn when all of the fans have turned on her for acting callously towards them as she soaks up her 15 minutes of fame.
Angela met 30-year old Michael via a dating website and when they were cast on the popular TLC show, they were quick to become fan favorites. The show has shown their tumultuous relationship to audiences on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days on season 2 and season 3. There have been plenty of breakups due to a mountain of trust issues between the two after Michael admitted to cheating on Angela shortly after they first got together. Lisa revealed that he younger fiancé, 30-year-old Usman Umar, also met online, when he slid in her DMs.
The two women share a lot of similarities. Not only are they both older blonde American women who are dating younger Nigerian men, but both Angela and Lisa have strong personalities that stir up deep emotions within the viewers. Each reality star in their own right has strong opinions that do not sit well with traditional Nigerians and to the show's audience. The American women find it very east to barge into a much different world to theirs and assume that everyone will bow down to them. For example, both women found it hard to get along with their fiancé’s friends, finding them often to be rude and speak out of turn. The two Nigerian men, Usman and Michael would also like to have children of their own but face a problem with wanting to marry much older women as their reproductive ability has aged out.
One major difference between the two is while Angela may be a loudmouth, she is humble and at least tries to respect the Nigerian culutre. Angela always made it a point to be gracious to Michael's mother and treat her like her own. The Georgia peach tried her best to shower his family with gifts and even help cook a meal within their home, despite it not being her strong suit. Lisa, on the other hand, is way more aggressive in her personality, even with her followers on social media. The Pennsylvania native feels that she has the right to attack anyone who crosses her or has an opinion that doesn't match hers. She has been known to message the offender privately and cyberbully them by calling them names. Lisa comes off as classless in how she speaks, especially about sex. In a recent episode, she referred to having sex without a condom as “raw dog.” The reality stars crudeness was taken to a new level when she refers to women as "thirsty females" and continually calls Usman's business associates "idoits."
Angela may not like 90 Day Fiancé bloggers, but she tolerates them because she knows it is a part of what she signed up for. While Lisa made it quite clear she would not change her ways in how she handles people she does not like. Fans of the hit show have no love left for Lisa as she is just mean and unlikable, both on and off the show. Right now, fans who hated Angela's behavior on the show would love her to take Lisa's place as a castmember.
