Fans of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days have wondered why "Baby Girl" Lisa Hamme hasn't try harder on her physical appearance. With a much younger fiancé, people have wondered why she hasn't made an effort to make herself more attractive for him.
The 90 Day Fiancé franchise has brought viewers to the forefront of what it is like to date a foreigner. Cameras brought fans to so many different countries that possibly otherwise they would not have seen in their lifetime. But in recent seasons the overall appearance of some Americans has gone down the tube. Many fans wonder how people who live paycheck to paycheck can even afford to be a sponsor for the K-1 visa process.
Love her or hate her, baby girl Lisa is making a name for herself, but not a great one. She has come under fire for her overbearing and controlling behavior towards her fiancé, Usman. Fans have watched week after week as she uses her loud and pushy personality to corner the Nigerian man into submission as she is never happy with how much effort he puts into his music career. The mother of one has even taken to bullying her haters on social media by privately messaging them and calling them names.
Many TLC fans have pointed out that she looks and sounds much older than a 52-year-old woman. She flew all the way to Nigeria to finally meet her prince with her roots showing. Fans could not get over how she did not take the time nor effort to put herself together a bit more. Every episode has shown her with unruly hair that she quickly pulled back into what fans can only assume is her take on a messy bun.
She does not apply any form of makeup whatsoever and most of the time is wearing baggy mumus that do nothing for her figure. One clip showed her in a beige sweatsuit that made her look like day-old oatmeal. Fans all across the board have shared that they thought she would put in a little bit of effort, but nothing has changed. The lack of outside appeal only seems to match her inner ugly, as her personality is no better.
Her fiancé Usman, on the other hand, has been posting to his Instagram his style that is much more fashion-forward than his much older bride. It's obvious that he prides himself on wearing nice clothing and looking stylish. It seems odd that Lisa barely even spruced up after being on a plane for an entire day. Though we're not expecting her to be like co-star Darcey Silva and completely change into heels and a new outfit, it seemed like she made zero effort to be better looking for her "baby love."
The question remains should the reality star try harder? Sadly, most think she should. Understandably women should not have to feel forced to make themselves more attractive for men, but Lisa has taken no steps whatsoever, not even to work on her attitude. TLC audiences are looking forward to the day when she is no longer starring on the show as most everyone has grown tired of her big mouth and rude attitude. Leaks have informed viewers that the two did marry but then divorced soon after, giving Usman another shot at love, hopefully.
