Avery Mills and Omar Albakour have overcome a lot of obstacles since appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 DaysThe American and Syrian couple dealt with difficulties including rumors and finding a country where they could both happily be together. Avery and Omar were able to open up this week about their relationship and current living situation in a YouTube Q&A.

American teen Avery met Syrian Omar on a Muslim marriage website after she converted to Islam on her own initiative. Though the couple admitted they knew they were in love from their very first FaceTime call, their path together has not been easy. Avery has received criticism and misunderstanding for converting to Islam, and critics have accused Omar of abusing and controlling his wife. Additionally, Omar was not able to join his bride in the United States, leaving them physically separated for a year after marriage. The couple recently revealed that they are finally able to live together in Dubai, a city located in the United Arab Emirates. Avery has maintained that their relationship over the last two and a half years has been nothing but loving and that all abuse allegations are false. Now married for two years, the couple sat down to answer fan questions in a 17-minute video titled "Q&A Avery and Omar Answer your Questions" shared to their joint YouTube account OMAVERY.

Avery, who will soon be turning 22, and Omar, who turned 27 last week, shared more information about themselves. “It was an easy hello process,” Avery said about the Muslim dating app they met on. "It worked for us, so you guys should try it too." Avery also shared some more information that was not included during their time on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. The American said that she met Omar's family in person before she met her current husband. After talking to Omar for a month and shortly before getting engaged to him, Avery traveled to New Jersey to meet his brother and sister and get their marriage approval. The meeting was so successful that the siblings insisted she extended her trip for a week to spend more time with them. Omar's parents were also very approving of Avery, and she only had positive things to say about her in-laws as well. "My family literally loved her," Omar said, adding that they consider Avery to be a family member.

Though Avery's mother was shown struggling with the news that her daughter had converted religions and was thinking of moving to the Middle East on the show, Avery shared that her family has since changed their opinion. “My family actually really, really supports me," she said. She explained that her mother has since discovered that her conversion was not a phase and that Avery is happy and living a good life. She also shared that her mother has recognized that she is the best version of herself as a Muslim and how positive the faith has been for her. Avery revealed that her mother told her, "One thing I noticed about you being Muslim is that you are the better version of yourself."

Another thing that the couple made clear is that they would "never" again appear on another 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show. "It's just not for us that's all we have to say," Avery stated. On a positive note, the couple shared their favorite things about each other. Omar said that he loves how respectful, loving, and smart his wife is. Avery is roughly one year away from finishing her healthcare administration training. Meanwhile, Avery shared that she loves how Omar is nurturing, patient, smart, handsome, charming, and a good person. The 27-year-old already finished his degree in dentistry, but he is currently doing his Master's degree in periodontitis, which is gum surgery.

Overall, Avery and Omar have proven that no amount of critics can come between true love. The couple appears to be living their best lives and has created a beautiful life together in Dubai. They are certainly a successful couple who has emerged from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise.
