In the latest episode of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, viewers learned that Asuelu Pulaa had a major car accident in which he could have lost his life. Many fans think that the timing of his accident is a little fishy. His wife Kalani Faagata and father-in-law, Low Faagata, recently learned that they are financially responsible for him unless he dies. Kalani, who has been contemplating divorce from her husband for over a year, finally talked to a divorce lawyer.
Since her income wasn't high enough, Low signed as a co-sponsor, and then Asuelu was allowed to come to the United States. Low also joined the revealing conversation, and the lawyer told them that they were responsible for Asuelu for ten years. However, they are now financially responsible for the Samoan native for life unless he gets deported, is granted citizenship, or dies. So, Low advised Kalani to work on her marriage for the sake of their sons.
In an episode of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, Asuelu revealed that he had experienced a terrifying car accident. Some of the car accident pictures flashed on the screen, and Asuelu appeared to have to experience post-traumatic stress. He couldn't drive and looked visibly terrified while talking to the cameras. However, fans thought about the divorce meeting that happened just before the accident. A fan started a Reddit thread with the title, "Asuelu almost dies after Low learns death is one of the ways to end the sponsorship." The fan was definitely joking, but the timing of the accident was actually quite odd.
Another fan added, "Please tell me this wasn't an inside job." Someone else questioned, "I mean where exactly was Low at the time of the accident??" Other comments read, "I would watch a spin-off of Low as a mob boss. He's my 90-day crush," and "duh that's the reason low is 'away at work.'" Still, Kalani thought that they needed this accident because this unfortunate incident brought her closer to her husband. The mommy of two has realized that she loves Asuelu. However, many 90 Day Fiance fans don't think Kalani's feelings will last.
Last season, she was so fed up with Asuelu's immature behavior that she booked a one-way ticket for him and sent him to his mother's house in Washington. After the season ended, she posted a cuddly with him and their sons and revealed that she is still trying to work on her relationship. They appeared to be doing much better than Mike and Natalie. Reports suggest that Mike is allegedly dating a new blonde. It seems like he didn't even wait for 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After season 6 to end and moved on.
