90 Day Fiancé stars Ashley Martson and Jay Smith have ended their marriage after nearly three years together. Ashley shared her thoughts and feelings about the split in a lengthy statement on Instagram. Martson had previously shared a post on September 19 which announced the divorce.

The 90 Day Fiancé stars first met in Jamaica when the female reality star was visiting for a friend’s wedding. Their whirlwind romance started after Smith reached out to Martson via social media. Smith proposed 6 months later. Martson and Smith tied the knot in May 2018 in Las Vegas. However, Martson filed for divorce in January 2019. Smith won Martson back, as she withdrew the divorce petition two weeks after filing, but their reconciliation was short-lived. Smith was accused of being unfaithful in April 2019. Martson took out a restraining order against Smith in July 2019. Forgiveness seemed to be the path for Martson because the couple reunited, and she chose to withdraw the divorce filing and a restraining order. However, it was not to be, as Smith was accused of cheating again in October 2019, and this time, rumors he got another woman pregnant were afloat. Smith denied this but the damage was done for five months at least. The 90 Day Fiancé couple found their way back together in March 2020.

It is no doubt that Ashley Martson and Jay Smith have had a rollercoaster of a relationship. Now if Martson’s Instagram posts are any indication the pair seem to be done for good this time around. Martson pours her heart out and says, “The truth is, I can’t ask something of anyone when at this moment I don’t know what I need. I don’t know where I’m going, what’s next for me, or whom I will evolve into.” She continued the post by saying that the “embarrassing and painful” split will make her a “better version” of herself. Martson then thanked fans who took the time to “encourage me and not to shame me.” See the full post below:

The thirty-four-year-old seems to be well as she is focused on her business Pout by D & A and her children, while Smith is focused on his tattoo business. They’ve both erased traces of their relationship on their respective pages. Martson has even joined other 90 Day Fiancé alums who have created OnlyFans accounts, like Deavan Clegg, with hers being in the top 3%.

Divorce is no easy process but both Smith and Martson will come out stronger and better. Smith has yet to comment on their 90 Day Fiancé separation.
