90 Day Fiancé's Ashley Martson reveals her ex-husband Jay Smith is her lockdown partner during the coronavirus outbreak in a surprising TikTok "Flipped the Switch" challenge video. Ashley’s followers read her the riot act for seemingly getting back together with a man who cheated on her numerous times.
Jay and Ashley are now a household name and one of the most memorable couples thanks to initially being featured on season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé after the two met while Martson was vacationing in sunny Jamaica. Yet, Martson and Smith’s wedded bliss did not last long. He returned to old habits, cheating on her once he had moved to the United States. The chaotic relationship, as featured on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, led Martson to file for divorce. After many public arguments, Jay being held in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody, rumors circulating that Jay had gotten other women pregnant, and Ashley finally getting Jay to sign the divorce papers, no fans would have ever thought that there would be a chance that these two would be working it out.
While the coronavirus is in full force, many are being told to shelter in place while the pandemic rages on. Many countries are shutting down nonessential establishments to try and stop the spread of the virus. It would look as if Martson is taking the warning seriously as she posted a video to Instagram showing her dancing in her bathroom doing her rendition of the "Flipped the Switch" challenge. Fans were stunned to see Smith slide into the camera frame and kiss her on the cheek. In a clever flick of the switch, the TLC personality went to dancing by herself and tossing her blonde, high ponytail to Smith behind her, kissing her. The reality stars outfit changed from a pink sweatshirt to a red one so some fans questioned if it was during the same time period. The video confirmed that she is definitely now back together with her estranged husband, Jay, and is even spending lockdown with him. She captioned the TikTok video (which can be seen in the Instagram post below): "Damn, maybe this quarantine isn't so bad after all."
The red sweatshirt did read "taken" which caused an uproar on social media that the two were actually back together. While the white shirt at the begging of the video read "single." The couple was heard giggling before the video was switched off. Martson looked noticeably different in her face as some viewers have projected, she had gotten some cosmetic procedures done after their first breakup. However, some of the former castmates seemed excited about a possible reunion as Kalani posted that Martson and Smith should have heard her husband, Asuelu, "squeal" at the video.
While according to Marston’s caption she may be fine in quarantine as she has her on-again-off-again husband, a lot of other people around the world are struggling. Fans hope that if or when they split, that they won't run to news outlets to slander each other's names again.
