Armando Rubio and Kenneth Niedermeier posted a giveaway on Instagram, and many 90 Day Fiancé viewers think they are promoting a scam. It isn't the first time this Mexican couple has received backlash on social media. When the duo was featured on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, fans called them out for their questionable actions. Many viewers thought Armando acted selfishly when he told Kenneth that he wanted to have a baby via surrogacy. Even though the 58-year-old reality star was reluctant to have a baby at his retirement age, Armando didn't give in and insisted on taking an IVF route to grow their family.

Kenneth also got sharp criticism on social media for not being patient with Armando's father. He failed to support Armando and ended up questioning his father's intentions when he refused to attend their wedding. The Florida native also gets teased on different social media platforms for failing to learn Spanish. Viewers noticed that Kenneth had spent more than a year in Mexico, and he still can't converse with his in-laws and Armando's nine-year-old daughter, Hannah, because he doesn't speak the local language.

The newly wedded couple recently shared a contest on Instagram to giveaway $1000. Armando asked his followers to follow a few accounts and then write "done," in the comment section. A 90 Day Fiancé fan reposted Armando and Kenneth's post on Reddit with the title (via Anfiisa), "All 'follow for a chance to win' posts are a scam. Even your favs will take advantage of you." Many other fans agreed with the OP and shared their own bad experiences with such giveaway contests. A Redditor sarcastically wrote, "But K&A are supposed to be the good ones (eye roll)." Another chimed in, "Awwwww. :/ what a let down."

Someone else said Armando and Kenneth seem like the best couple, but they are still on 90 Day Fiancé, where nobody is normal. A few fans couldn't help but drag another 90 Day Fiancé star Yara Zaya, who has been labeled as a scammer for selling allegedly overpriced clothes on her online store. Earlier, Varya Malina and Natalie Mordovtseva were also dragged for posting similar giveaway contests on her Instagram.

It isn't clear whether Armando and Kenneth's contest is fake or not. However, a few key points suggest that this 90 Day Fiancé couple could be frauding their Instagram followers. The giveaway account that the couple is referring to has less than 10K followers and doesn't have the iconic blue tick, hinting that it isn't verified. Hopefully, Armando and Kenneth, who recently helped HIV+ kids, aren't scamming their fans, especially during this happy festive season. Perhaps, some 90 Day Fiancé fans should participate in the contest and figure out if someone really won the grand prize.
