Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre are at the crossroads again on 90 Day Fiancé. Fans will recall Ariela refusing to convert to Biniyam’s Christian faith before giving birth. But now that baby Aviel has finally arrived, Ariela is facing a new dilemma. While Ariela and Biniyam had mutually decided to circumcise the baby, the 90 Day Fiancé mom is not feeling “good” about it now, and she has her reasons.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’s Ariela, 28, and Biniyam, 29, not only come from different continents but evidently different trains of thoughts as well. The Jewish Ariela had shown reluctance when Biniyam first proposed the idea of their unborn baby’s baptism. Ariela did have it her way when she chose a Hebrew name "Aviel" but looks like her conversion is going to be the bone of contention for the remainder of their 90 Day Fiancé season. Aviel was born by emergency C-section after Ariela faced major complications from his breech position amidst her scary panic attack that Biniyam couldn't pacify. 90 Day Fiancé fans called him out for his orthodox views about natural birth, being unprepared for a child and, being unable to calm the anxious Ariela down. But now that baby Aviel has greeted everyone on the reality show safe and sound, it’s time to turn back to his parents deciding the religion he will adopt. Ariela and Biniyam seemed to have reached a common ground about the child’s circumcision, however, the 90 Day Fiancé star’s second thoughts are now taking over.

In a sneak-peek shared by TLC, Ariela is seen sharing her apprehensions with Biniyam who’s already made up his mind. The Ethiopian 90 Day Fiancé star asks his girlfriend if she’s ready for the baby’s “cut?” But a worried Ariela replies with “I don’t know.” The young mom adds, "I knew he was always going to be circumcised, but I really feel like I'm taking away a choice for him in his life.” Ariela confesses that since it’s his body, “he should be able to decide what he wants to do with it." However, Biniyam seems adamant in his approach when he tells Ariela, “Don’t worry – I’ll decide for you.” He assures Ariela that “It is good for him, for [the] baby now, if you cut him,” and that he won’t “feel too much” pain.

Ariela then reveals why she thinks Aviel’s circumcision isn’t a good idea by adding, “I don't want him to hate me when he's older because he thinks I mutilated him or something.” The 90 Day Fiancé star shares that she doesn’t “feel good about it.” But Ariela also tells the cameras that she knows there’s no way Biniyam would not let her do this. “Certain people in my family would not agree with it, so I feel certain pressure to do it as well,” she mentions. Meanwhile, as the hospital is prepping for the procedure, seeing Ariela visibly bothered irritates Biniyam, and he blurts out, “I don't know why she is stressed."

Upon watching the scene, 90 Day Fiancé fans are wondering why Ariela would be against the procedure since she is Jewish, but some have deduced that it could be because “she doesn’t trust the hospital.” People who earlier took offense at Biniyam’s C-section views are now angered by him not letting Ariela take her own decisions. “Why does she not have her own opinion on things. ‘I will decide for you’. Wow..,” mentions one YouTube comment. And there are some TLC viewers who are blaming both Ariela and Biniyam for not having talked these things out “BEFORE having babies.”

The super teaser for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 did hint at this issue between the couple getting magnified by showing Biniyam’s sister Wish pressurizing Ariela about her baptism. “If you don’t baptize, the baby goes to hell,” she tells Ariela, who in turn asks Biniyam if it’s okay for his sisters to talk to her like that. The sisters also hint at Ariela acting “like his ex” which could add to Biniyam’s worries about their future together, especially after having lost contact with his ex-wife and son due to a misunderstanding. Does a déjà vu lie in Biniyam’s future or will the 90 Day Fiancé couple be able to get over their parenting problems once and for all?
