Fans have watched 90 Day Fiancé star Ariela Weinberg’s weight loss journey since she was introduced in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2. 31-year-old Ariela from New Jersey moved to Ethiopia in her first TLC reality TV show. While there, she gave birth to her first baby, Aviel Shibre. Ariela’s storyline with Biniyam Shibre, 32, has been featured in three shows so far, and they currently star in 90 Day Fiancé season 9. While Ariela’s relationship with Biniyam has been through many changes, so has her figure, which had led to plastic surgery rumors.

Why Ariela’s Weight Loss Is Shocking
Biniyam and Ariela started dating when they met in Ethiopia, and three months after, they found out that Ariela was pregnant. While Ariela did return to America, she soon made her way back to Addis Ababa, while she was six months pregnant. She wanted to welcome the baby with Biniyam by her side, and his visa issues meant that he wouldn’t have been able to come to the U.S. in time. On December 17, 2019, the couple finally welcomed their first son via emergency C-section. In February 2020, Ariela and Biniyam were engaged, and the happy moment was a part of the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 finale. Therefore, fans only got to see her onscreen while she was expecting, and shortly after she gave birth.
Ariela Reveals Her Weight Loss Secrets
Soon after welcoming baby Aviel, Ariela started working hard to regain her pre-pregnancy shape. While browsing through Ariela’s Instagram posts, fans started to observe that she had lost a lot of weight. They asked Ariela about her weight loss secrets, and she revealed that breastfeeding helped her to lose weight rapidly. She used to post about her gym sessions with Biniyam. Ariela swore by weightlifting, which helped her to tone her muscles. She also avoided eating a lot late at night, and all of these adjustments helped her to lose almost 50 pounds. However, when a 90 Day Fiancé fan wrote to Ariela, asking for weight loss tips, her only piece of advice to them was, “Don’t equate your worth with your weight because they have nothing to do with one another."
Why Does Ariela Look So Different?
While Ariela showed off her post-baby look upon her return to 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, midway through the show, her face started looking different. Fans accused Ariela of getting plastic surgery while she shared that she'd chosen Botox, fillers and another unnamed procedure. Ariela had gotten some cosmetic treatments done to alleviate her TMJ. Her smile is crooked, and she is often in a lot of pain and can’t chew well. The 90 Day Fiancé star stopped grinding her teeth because of Botox in her masseter muscles. Around Halloween 2021, Ariela did confess to getting fillers in her lips, and she loved the results. She often reposts videos from her visits to the New York clinic, which may suggest that she's involved in a collaboration with the brand. In March, Ariela shared that she was getting a Brazilian Butt Lift at the clinic, although she keeps denying she’s ever gone under the knife.
