TLC's 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Ariela Weinberg shared old videos of her time in Ethiopia because she wants fans to know a civil war has erupted in Biniyam Shibre's home country. Unlike other American TV stars, Ariela really cherishes the time she spent in a third-world country like Ethiopia. Earlier, she told 90 Day Fiancé fans Ethiopia is much more than poverty and desert. Ariela revealed the country is lush and green and also has a deep ancient history. She promised fans would love the country if they ever decided to visit it.

In the last few days, Ariela has shared over ten throwback videos from Ethiopia. Ariela posted an old memory of making Ethiopian bread, Injera. In the video, the reality TV star tries to spread the batter properly to make it as authentic as possible. With the video, she shared a caption talking about the civil war situation in the country. She wrote, "When you love a person or a place you suffer and cry with them.." In another throwback post, Ariela revealed she first visited Ethiopia in 2017 and instantly fell in love with the country. She wrote, "There is something about the air that is different in Ethiopia. It hits me everytime I walk out the doors of Bole Airport. I fell in love with a land and a culture."

It's clear Ariela considers Biniyam's home country her second home. However, she is really concerned about the current situation in Ethiopia. Ariela recently did an Instagram Live session to express how bad she feels about the Ethiopian Civil War situation. She captioned the video, "Ethiopia Needs Peace." She asked 90 Day Fiancé fans to pray for the country and urged "smart thoughtful people to work together" to solve this chaotic problem. She added, "We need to treat each other with respect and forgive one another. We need peace."

Ariela is using her reality TV fame to bring more awareness about what is happening in Ethiopia. Her video is over an hour long, which shows how much she cares about the place. The Tigray War began on November 3, 2020. The local Tigray Defense Forces are fighting the Ethiopian National Defense Force, the Ethiopian Federal Police, regional police, and gendarmerie forces. Based on the latest news, the rebel forces are closing in on the country's capital, which could bring regional chaos. Ariela is missing Ethiopia and is concerned about the safety of her loved ones.

However, Ariela must be slightly at ease knowing she, her beau, and her baby are safe in the United States. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans have confirmed they saw the couple together in New York City and Princeton, New Jersey, where Ariela is originally from. Biniyam's latest Instagram post also confirmed he is in America. In the post, he promoted some protein-rich enchiladas that are available in Walmart and Costco. It is comforting to see that Ariela, Binyam, and Aviel are safe while living with Janice. Still, the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers would hope the forces can resolve their conflicts without triggering a humanitarian crisis in Ethiopia.
