Former 90 Day Fiancé star Biniyam Shibre has launched his new music video for "Dancey Dancey," but fans also wanted to see Ariela Weinberg in it. The popular couple from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 got their happy ending in the finale, with Ariela and Biniyam getting engaged after having baby Aviel. After having met Biniyam in Ethiopia, Ariela relocated from Princeton, New Jersey, to start a new life with him in his country. Fans also discovered Ariela in an Ethiopian music video, and when Biniyam finally released his own, they wondered why it didn’t have 90 Day Fiancé’s favorite Ariela.
Freelance writer Ariela and Biniyam made plenty of fans play guessing games over whether they were still together after 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. The couple barely posted about each other on social media and followed their contracts to the T, but 90 Day Fiancé's Ariela and Biniyam are still going strong and, as fans think, still based in Addis Ababa. Biniyam’s financial conditions were a matter of concern for Ariela and her parents on the show, but it was easy to see that he was a man of many talents who was also hard-working. An amateur MMA fighter, “Baby Cool” Biniyam won a match in the United States when he was married to his American ex.
Apart from that, on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, fans were also given a sneak peek of “Dancey Dancey” by Bini--the dancer, gymnast, martial artist and choreographer--in a studio with his friends. The popular TLC couple finally unveiled a video for the track, with Ariela posting, “I'm so proud of you Bini,” on her Instagram feed. While congratulating her partner by saying how proud she and Avi are of him, Ariela also wrote that the video “mixes dance and traditional southern sounds” while showcasing one of her favorite parts in the African country. When fans wondered why she's not in the video, Ariela replied, “I think my video vixen days are behind me.”
Fans felt that Ariela being in the video would have made it complete. After all, a video by Andinet Ali called “Honey” starring 90 Day Fiancé's Ariela from before she met Biniyam went viral during their 90 Day Fiancé stint. A different fan said they would have loved to see Ariela in Biniyam’s video, and sassy Ariela’s reaction was, “We didn’t want to take away from the African feel by putting my face in the song.” But Ariela did reveal that they are working on “2 more songs at the moment so who knows.”
It was after the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way finale had aired that a screenshot where Ariela was telling someone about them doing the show to boost Biniyam’s fame was shared online. “I wanted the world to see his talent and get him opportunities. So he has some scenes showcasing that,” Ariela had mentioned in the message, before adding that they felt Sojaboy Usman Umar had become “somewhat successful” after the show. However, even after their 90 Day Fiancé stint, Ariela has been hustling just as hard to give Biniyam a platform to show his art, whether it's via Instagram or as a lyricist for his song.
