Viewers of 90 Day Fiancé are reacting to Ariela Weinberg and her ex-husband Leandro Fosque’s big secret which could jeopardize her relationship with Biniyam Shibre. Princeton woman 31-year-old Ariela and 32-year-old Ethiopian man Biniyam first featured in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2. Ariela spoke about being married to her first husband for 10 long years before she met Biniyam and became pregnant with her first baby in Ethiopia. However, Ariela and Leandro’s timeline became confusing to fans when he finally showed up in The Other Way season 3. Fans found out Ariela and Leandro had never officially broken up and she was still married to him when she started dating Biniyam.
Fans discovered that Ariela is best friends with Leandro during The Other Way. She had stayed with Leandro in the U.S. when she was pregnant and irked Biniyam and fans both by inviting him to stay with her in Ethiopia as well. Ariela was gifted bras by Leandro and she told him, “you could’ve had a baby like this,” referring to her son Aviel. After Leandro left, Biniyam was scared of losing Ariela when she had to fly to the U.S. for Aviel’s surgery. But the situation has gotten worse for Biniyam now that he is in America getting a front-row seat to more Ariela and Leandro interactions, and learning about Leandro’s closeness to Ariela’s family.
Ariela is being called out by 90 Day Fiancé fans for bringing Leandro back into her and Biniyam’s relationship, which already is under strain due to their financial and trust issues. But it seems Biniyam may have been unaware of one more fact that reveals just how close Leandro and Ariela’s bond is. Reddit user u/capitolsara shared a screenshot of a tweet originally posted by 90 Day Fiancé’s Twitter. The tweet, which comes from a series of BTS facts about 90 Day Fiancé stars on season 9 said, “While they might be divorced, Leandro and Ari still share a bank account.” In the comments, fans expressed surprise after coming across the information which has never been mentioned on the show.
Fans want Ariela to get her priorities straight, since Leandro’s presence is clearly making Biniyam uncomfortable, which is hard for them to see. “I get the feeling she has never had her own bank account. I thought she was still at the Bank of Mom and Dad,” wrote u/azorianmilk about Ariela, who recently hosted a yard sale so fans could help her stop “mooching” off her parents. “Perhaps because she sponsored him? Leandro wants Biniyam to communicate well with his ex-wife and give her attention, amidst Ariela having a pregnancy scare. The awkwardness between Biniyam and Leandro is palpable in all scenes which feature the two men. However, it seems Ariela and Biniyam are still together and married after they were recently seen in Las Vegas, with no Leandro in sight, thankfully.
