On a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé, season 9 star Ariela Weinberg sported a unique glam look for her husband Biniyam Shibre's first MMA fight, and fans were split on whether she looked amazing or cringey. Ariela and Biniyam returned for The Other Way season 3, where the couple faced some issues when Ariela was forced to leave Biniyam in Ethiopia as she returned to the United States so Aviel could have hernia surgery.
On 90 Day Fiancé season 9, Ariela and Biniyam moved together to the United States, as Biniyam's K-1 visa finally got approved. When Biniyam arrived, he wasted no time on looking for things to keep him busy. He got involved with sparring and eventually MMA fighting, which caused several issues between him and Ariela, such as her getting upset when he practiced with a woman fighter. Nonetheless, Ariela and her mom Janice both attended Biniyam's first MMA fight, to show their support for him following his passion.
90 Day Fiancé fans on Reddit had very mixed opinions on Ariela's fancy look for the fight. Redditor u/princesserinface posted a photo of Ariela during an interview before the fight, writing "Ari looking like a bad 90s prom date." Many others in the comments had similar opinions, particularly feeling that the 90 Day Fiancé star was too overdressed for the occasion. They felt that the sequined green dress seemed like something someone would wear instead to an old high school prom, rather than an MMA fight.
On the other hand, many other fans on Reddit loved Ariela's look. Reddit user SweetCuddleParfait posted a photo of Ariela from the episode, captioning it "I actually think she looked pretty. I hope she felt good dressing up." Other fans were quick to support Ariela with positive comments, saying that while she was dressed very fancy, she looked pretty nonetheless.
