New Jersey woman Ariela Weinberg lost 50 pounds since her 90 Day Fiancé debut, and the reason behind it has been quite surprising. When asked about weight loss tips, the young 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 cast member revealed it was all thanks to her breastfeeding her son. Ariela was pregnant during her TLC debut, which happened much later after she welcomed her baby son with Biniyam Shibre, Aviel Shibre in December 2019.
Ariela not only dropped all her baby weight while breastfeeding, but also lost some extra weight before pregnancy. The physical transformation brought about changes in Ariela, who became confident and experimented with fashion. Her slim appearance made her look taller, and she developed angular face features. To maintain her figure, 90 Day Fiancé cast member Ariela began to work out, eat healthy, and avoided eating a lot late at night. 90 Day Fiancé fans didn’t believe Ariela, and suspected that she used plastic surgery to transform herself. She eventually admitted to getting Botox injections under her eyes, around her jaw, and around her lips. Ariela made her reality TV debut with 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in June 2020, in which fans first met her as a pregnant woman. Ariela was leaving her Princeton life behind to settle in Ethiopia, where she would build a life with Biniyam and their soon-to-arrive baby. To announce her show’s premiere, Ariela posted a photo of herself “Pregnant and cute and looking to the future...” in which she wore a pink sweater with navy leggings and colorful sneakers, with a gorgeous glow on her face as she looked away from the camera. By then, Ariela had already welcomed baby Avi, who was born in November 2019. She began her weight loss journey, which fans only found out much later.

In March 2021, Ariela was about to star in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, which would spark rumors of how she changed her face with plastic surgery. On Instagram, Ariela used to share pictures of herself looking glam as a new mom, and her physical transformation was evident, even in pictures that focused on her face and not her body. “How did you lose your weight?,” a fan had asked Ariela in the comments of her pretty photo, surrounded by purple periwinkles. 90 Day Fiancé celeb Ariela’s response was “diet and exercise.” To a different fan who asked Ariela to not “lose any more weight,” she said, “just gaining muscle.”

While Ariela makes sure to not slip any storyline spoilers via her social media content, a February video from her had the 90 Day Fiancé star revealing unknown facts about her life. Ariela explained how she’s a Scorpio but doesn’t believe in that and that she runs a “tour and travel agency” and does “social media stuff,” apart from being a TV personality and doing non-profit work. In the comments, fans wrote messages such as, “I hardly recognized you." Some believed it was due to the filter she was using or “too much botox,” but it seems Ariela’s face really looked different because of her weight loss.
