Ariela Weinberg revealed why Biniyam Shibre and her baby Avi is often with their nanny Tsion Mimi in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3. Ariela has been on the receiving end of criticism all through her 90 Day Fiancé stint. Fans have called Ariela spoiled and have had enough of her complaints. With Ariela’s ex-husband Leandro Fosque leaving for America, there’s a new issue that some TLC viewers have about the New Jersey native. Fans observed that Ariela, and Biniyam too, have rarely carried or acknowledged their son, but she has now addressed their concerns.
Ariela was six months pregnant when she first met fans on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2. The mom-to-be was moving to Ethiopia to deliver her and Biniyam’s baby boy. But it wasn’t an easy ride for Ariela, who dealt with decisions about Avi’s baptism and circumcision. And in the end, Ariela, Biniyam, and Avi did come across as a happy 90 Day Fiancé family whenever fans saw them on Instagram. Still, TOW season 3, Ariela confessed that she’s now hired a nanny called Mimi. The woman who’s Biniyam’s sister helped Ariela out by looking after the baby and teaching her about the Ethiopian culture as well.
But seeing Mimi hold Avi often during scenes with Ariela and Biniyam didn’t go down well with 90 Day Fiancé fans. In her recent Instagram post, Ariela posed pretty by a swimming pool and asked fans if they’d want to see a BTS segment on the show about its “little moments” and get more context. A fan wrote to Ari saying, “Yes because by the looks of the show you never have your baby with you and the nanny is always carrying him while you all go walk together 😂 the nanny acts more like his mother 🤷” Ariela told them that Mimi is definitely Avi’s other mother. “In the case of carrying him I see it bothers people,” Ariela admitted, but noted that their nanny is very close to Avi and “usually requests to carry him.”
Ariela did note that when it’s just Biniyam and her with Avi, it’s the daddy who gets to carry the baby. A different fan also commented on Ariela’s photo with, “just please ~hold your baby more.” Ariela claimed that she does hold her baby “a lot.” The freelance writer Ariela accepted that she shares baby Aviel with those who love him. The fan replied to Ariela with “wonderful” but did have one of the 90 Day Fiancé star’s supporters telling them that their comment was “annoying” and that they should not “tell mothers how to mother.”
Ariela has given critics ample opportunities during 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way to call her out on being the season’s villain. And it doesn’t look like Ariela’s naysayers are going to stop anytime soon. A preview shows Ari trying to reveal some heartbreaking news to Biniyam through tears. Fans are sure it’s about Ariela wanting to come back to America for Leandro. But before the season began, Ariela shared that baby Avi will be undergoing surgery in the U.S. While Ariela goes through this difficult period as a young mother, perhaps the negative comments about her will see an end.
