Has 90 Day Fiancé’s Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre’s relationship really reached its breaking point? Ariela, who began her journey as an expectant mother on the TLC show had finally welcomed baby Aviel into the world with Ethiopian boyfriend Biniyam. But their contrasting cultures and religions are clearly causing cracks in the reality TV relationship. And Biniyam’s sisters are not helping at all by threatening that if the American 90 Day Fiancé star doesn’t baptize Aviel, the baby will go to hell. Will Ariela give in to their demands or do just what Biniyam’s ex-wife Bria did?

When globe-trotter Ariela met Biniyam in Addis Ababa, little did she know that she’d be walking into a world completely different than hers. Fresh out of a divorce from her husband Leandro, of 10 years, Ariela soon became pregnant with Biniyam’s baby and decided to give birth in Ethiopia. But Biniyam’s dark past did hint at affecting the 90 Day Fiancé celeb’s future with the dancer. While Biniyam, an Orthodox Christian had fallen for Ariela, a Jew, he also was going through a déjà vu situation where his American ex-wife had fled back taking their son along. With his apparent infidelity being a reason, Ariela’s mom voiced her concerns but soon enough, it was Biniyam’s traditional views on pregnancy and religion that struck both Ariela and 90 Day Fiancé fans as odd. The recent episode sees Ariela sit down with her parents Dr. Fred and Janice, with Biniyam’s sisters attacking her over baby Aviel’s baptism.

This week’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way shows the intense showdown between Wish and Ariela unfold as Dr. Fred Weinberg reveals that his daughter had kept the part about Avi’s baptism a secret from him. “To be told that Avi is going to be baptized is a true shock,” confesses Ariela’s father as she says innocently, “I justified it to myself that we’re just going to put him in some water, and everyone’s gonna have a party for him.” However, Janice explains to Ariela, “When you baptize them, they're baptized into that faith, usually,” but her daughter confesses that she agreed because Biniyam came to her crying. “Yes, it’s very important to me,” clarifies Biniyam, but Ariela shuts him down saying that’s not the case as it’s his sisters who have “put pressure on him.”

Biniyam’s sisters admit to having coerced him by adding, "Why not? This is important. This is our religion. He must baptized in also our culture.” When the Ethiopian ladies ask the 90 Day Fiancé celeb what exactly caused her to change her mind, and say that “for the baby, it is must.” Ariela declares that she doesn’t think baptism is a must and that she’s just letting Biniyam do it, but his sisters attack her by saying, “If you don’t baptize, the baby goes straight to hell.” Ariela, clearly offended at the comment tells them, “I don't like this idea of hell." She further adds, "You're bad, you're going to hell. That's really important. I don't want hell in his life, and I told you, if I catch you doing that, that would be one of the reasons that I really would leave." But this is when Biniyam’s sisters compare her to his ex and Ariela says the comparison is “fu*ked up.” She looks to Biniyam asking how he could let his sisters talk to her like that, as the 90 Day Fiancé star fails to look into her eyes.

Just when 90 Day Fiancé fans thought that Aviel’s religion was going to be the only major roadblock in Ariela and Biniyam’s love story, the freelance writer has developed trust issues as well. Biniyam talking to his ex is supposedly what made Bria leave him, and if he does repeat the same thing again, the baptism not really be Ariela’s priority while deciding if she should continue living in Ethiopia with him or not.
