Popular 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Ariela Weinberg has revealed her intention of getting back together with ex-husband Leandro, who’s now visiting her and Biniyam Shibre in Ethiopia. Mom to baby son Avi, Ariela was pregnant when she debuted on season 2 of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off alongside then-boyfriend Biniyam. The couple rarely got along, and Ariela often complained about leaving Biniyam and going back to America. And with Ari now hinting at having unresolved feelings towards Leandro, could she have wanted to get rid of Bini all along?
Following her divorce, Ariela was on a solo adventure in Ethiopia when she locked eyes with Biniyam and fell for his smile. Three months of dating led to a pregnancy, and 90 Day Fiancé star Ariela soon relocated to Ethiopia permanently, although her hesitance was always showing. Ariela didn't get along with Biniyam’s sisters, nor was she happy with him not having money. Trust issues were also at their peak, with Biniyam dancing with his ex for work and Ariela wanting to snoop through his phone. Still, Biniyam never once brought up Ariela’s past, which on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way is looking murkier than ever with Leandro’s entry.
In a clip for Sunday night’s episode 2 posted by E! Online, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way celeb Ariela glams up for Leandro, who’s coming over after three days of quarantine. The usually dressed-down Ariela flaunts her new post-weight loss figure in a cute and short leopard print dress as Biniyam asks her, “It’s not too much? What you’re wearing?” While Ariela claims she looks cute, in a confessional, she declares, “I always planned to have Leandro and in my life, and up until I met Biniyam, I thought eventually we would get back together." The New Jersey native recounts meeting her former husband in Argentina when she was 19, striking a friendship for life, and bringing him back to the U.S. to marry.
90 Day Fiancé cast member Ariela revealed that she had arranged a spousal visa for Leandro, and they stayed married for 10 years. However, Ariela filed for divorce because she “wanted to travel the world,” and Leandro stayed back in the States to study physics. “I was immature and I was trying to find myself,” said Ariela, who in the back of her head, wanted to rekindle her and Leandro’s relationship if it had not been for Bini. The clip then follows Ariela nervously accepting that she wants to look “put together” for the exciting day ahead and heading to a nail salon where she conveniently forgets to wear her engagement ring.
While Biniyam observes that Ariela is looking extra nice as she waits for Leandro, even fans have noticed that she appears very different in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3. Fans have also commented on Ariela being very giggly when speaking about or to Leandro, and some think she has very little chemistry with Bini. With Ariela claiming that she wanted to get back with Leandro, could getting pregnant with Biniyam’s baby have been the only thing that stopped her from doing what she pleased?
