Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre are welcoming their baby soon on 90 Day Fiancé. Ariela, who flew across the world to be with her love in Ethiopia was seen adjusting to her new life while also accepting her new reality in the show. After fighting over finances, and dealing with trust issues, the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple seems to have found happiness in a new home. And as TLC fans wait to meet her baby boy in the next episode, here’s everything to know about Bini’s Ari.
Ariela’s first appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 showed her packing her bags for her Ethiopia move. In her early stage of pregnancy, Ariela looked forward to delivering the baby with Biniyam by her side, even though her family disapproved of her decisions. The feisty Ariela held her ground for love, and soon enough started off her journey in Addis Ababa with “commando mom” Janice for company. Janice, who was still skeptical, did try to warn Ariela about Biniyam’s past involving an American wife and his alliances with his ex, which developed trust issues in the expectant mother’s mind. Ariela demanded more from Biniya, but did realize the need to compromise later. The 90 Day Fiancé couple will be giving birth to a baby via an emergency C-section in the next episode, followed by family feuds over his baptism. But as Ariela’s supporters know, this struggle shall soon pass for the TLC star.
90 Day Fiancé personality Ariela is 28, Jewish, and hails from Princeton, NJ. While staying with family, Ariela used to help out part-time at her dad’s cardiology practice and was a freelance writer. 90 Day Fiancé had showcased Ariela’s family on her introductory episode which included her father Fredrick, mom Janice who’s a nurse, sister Kristin and brothers Bradford and Elliott. Ariela had described herself as “very sensitive, very adventurous,” and someone who everyone loves. “What’s not to love, you know?” Ariela had joked. She loves traveling and had recalled an incident about going to Argentina when she was 17 with her mother and never wanting to come back. After two years there, the 90 Day Fiancé star had met her former husband Leandro, who she married six months later. They moved to the USA, and stayed married for 10 years, but separated for the last three. “I was young and immature,” Ariela has confessed before adding that she got a divorce in 2019. It was the same year that Ariela decided to buy a cheap ticket to Ethiopia and flew there.
In Ethiopia, Ariela was apparently working with a production company called Opanther Productions where she co-hosted some radio shows and even interviews celebrities like actor Andre Royo from The Wire and Empire. Shortly after, Ariela starred in a music video for Ethiopian singer Andinet Ali’s song “Honey” before she started managing Biniyam’s boxing career in March 2019.
Ariela’s Instagram strictly follows the TLC contract, and she writes, “Reluctant TV personality” in the bio. Here she mostly indulges in sharing throwbacks to her world exploring days, including trips to Somalia, Kenya, Isreal, and Madagascar. Ariela loves talking about her family on IG and has also helped start her mother Janice’s profile @commandomom. Ariela had revealed that she’s given birth to a baby boy via Instagram, but she’s tried her best to keep the child’s pictures and details under wraps. Ariela had become pregnant three months after meeting Biniyam and gave birth prematurely at about 39 weeks (8.9 months) via C-section due to the baby being in a breech position.
Recently, Ariela has expressed interest in starting a YouTube channel with her baby. She also spoke about not having enough time to write travel articles since she’s been on 90 Day Fiancé and had the baby as she’s been trying to get back into the rhythm. Back in July, Ariela shared a vulnerable moment with her 90 Day Fiancé fans on Instagram when she opened up about the self-inflicted scars on her upper arms which came from “tumultuous adolescence.” Ariela seems to be in a happier place now as her return to the TLC means her being finally allowed to share pictures and details of Biniyam and her baby online. Her recent behavior and attitude towards Biniyam, and constant comparison between America and Ethiopia haven’t been too appreciated, but it does appear that unlike on 90 Day Fiancé, the Ariela off the reality show screen is content with "Baby" daddy Biniyam.
