TLC viewers may know the Nigerian rapper from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4, during which he married 54-year-old American partner Lisa "Babygirl" Hamme. However, when things didn't work out with Lisa, Usman returned in season 5 with another older woman, Kim. Fortunately, his second run at finding love on the show seemed more authentic to 90 Day Fiancé viewers.
During 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5, viewers saw Kim showering her man with expensive gifts and him accepting them with open arms. However, Usman still hesitated to make anything official with his 51-year-old superfan. Many viewers speculated at the time that Usman was probably using another American woman for a green card. At the same time, many viewers also disliked Kim for how she pressured the Nigerian reality star into being physically intimate with her. Despite all the messy fights, Usman and Kim exited the season together and are now a part of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7.
Many clues suggest that Usman and Kim are still together in 2022. Earlier in May 2022, the San Diego resident debunked the rumors of her split with the popular rapper by posting a sweet reel dedicated to him. In the video, she recalled the best moments they spent in Tanzania together and asked Usman, "Literally paradise! Can we go back now?" Usman instantly replied to the post and wrote, "My Love For You Will Never Die," which confirmed the two are still together months after filming the latest season.
In August, Kim doubled down on how strong her relationship is with Usman ahead of their appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7. She posted an Instagram Story, answering a fan who asked her how she deals with dealing with Usman's lies. Kim replied, "@officialsojaboy and I know each other very very well and I don't think people understand that." Her statement clarified that the two are walking hand in hand after their appearance on the show. But she didn't reveal if they were already married or engaged. Kim has also been open about how she's maintaining a long-distance relationship with her Nigerian beau.
In June 2022, she told a 90 Day Fiancé fan during a Q&A session how the two talk daily and do not keep secrets anymore. She wrote, "We have a good system," and clarified that the two talk on the phone three to four times each day. Kim claimed that "communication is key" in such long-distance relationships, and she and her partner maintain that. Since Usman is leaving lovey-dovey comments on Kim's Instagram posts, it seems this 90 Day Fiancé franchise duo has seemingly navigated through their tough times and is sailing smoothly nowadays.
